How do I Redeem Mystery Gift Codes in Pokémon Violet and Scarlet?

Balloon

This balloon rises when filled with hot air. The hotter the air, the quicker it rises. It can be activated with any fire, such as a torch in Link’s hand.

Battery

A Zonai device that holds Zonai-charge energy. Attach this to any other Zonai device to increase the duration of power for the device.

Beam Emitter

How to Get Zonai Capsules from Dispensers

Zonai Capsules are one-time-use items that let you deploy Zonai Devices. You can obtain them from Zonai Dispensers:

Find a Dispenser: Dispensers are mainly located on Sky Islands, with some on the surface and in the Depths. Look for a machine-like structure with a slot for charges.
Insert Zonai Charges: Use either ordinary or Large Zonai Charges. Drop up to five charges at a time. The more charges you use, the more capsules you get.
Device Pool: Each dispenser offers a set of devices. You can’t choose specific devices, so visit different dispensers to collect all types.
Capsule Count: Five ordinary Zonai Charges yield up to 12 capsules, while five Large Zonai Charges provide up to 60 capsules.
Buying Devices: After maxing out your battery, you can buy devices like the Big Battery from Constructs at Crystal Refineries.

Koltin is an interesting merchant in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. While he isn’t the primary way to buy supplies, he is worth searching for as he will provide mystical armor pieces you can’t find anywhere else. Here are all the Koltin locations in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Every Koltin Location in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Koltin goes to five locations in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The first encounter with Koltin will occur at Woodland Stable near Pico Pond. After this first encounter, he will start bouncing between the following locations. Koltin is hard to miss considering players can spot his balloon from a considerable distance.

Koltin Location #1 – Woodland Stable

The first time you’ll meet Koltin — and essentially activate him as a merchant — will be east of Woodland Stable next to Pico Pond. The exact coordinates of Koltin at this location are 1222, 1206, and 0020.

Koltin Location #2 – North of Tarrey Town

After the first interaction with Koltin, he will move locations and head to the eastern side of the map. More specifically, you can find Koltin at his second location northwest of Tarrey Town — and can be easily spotted on the mountainside. The exact coordinates of this location are 3662, 2065, and 0168.

Koltin Location #3 – South of Lookout Landing

Koltin will move near the center of the world map. You can find Koltin and his purple balloon south of Lookout Landing in Passeri Greenbelt. The exact coordinates of this location are -0319, 0163, and 0022.

Koltin Location #4 – East of Lake Hylia

Lastly, Koltin will appear east of Lake Hylia in the Faron Woods region. The exact coordinates of his fourth position are 0586, -2681, and 0112.

Koltin Location #5 – Tabantha Tundra

In the Tabantha Tundra, Koltin can be spotted on a cliff overlooking the Forgotten Temple, southeast of the Snowfield Stable. The exact coordinates are –1530, 2380, 0244. His balloon is easy to find even in snowy conditions.

How to Buy Products from Koltin

As you explore caves in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, there are rare occurrences where you will encounter glowing giant frogs — also known as Bubbul Frogs. These Frogs, when killed, will drop Bubbul Gems, which are the only form of currency that Koltin will accept. At first, Koltin will offer to trade you for a small amount of Bubbul Gems, but the more you trade with him, the higher the price will go.

The good news is that these Bubbul Frogs that drop the Gems are extremely easy to kill. One shot of an arrow to the face will knock them on their back and easily have them drop a Bubbul Gem. The frogs always only drop one gem at a time.

As you trade Bubbul Gems with Koltin, he will offer you a variety of rewards. You can’t skip any rewards and can only receive them in a particular order. Below you will find all rewards Koltin offers and the order he provides them.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘s iteration of Hyrule is full of shops where players can purchase valuable items. Some of the most beneficial varieties of vendors you will encounter are Forge Constructs. Here are all the Forge Construct locations in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Forge Constructs can be found in several locations in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, and most of them are tucked away in parts of the map that aren’t easy to get to. I would recommend stocking up on Brightbloom Seeds before you set out to find Forge Constructs, as most of them are located in the pitch-black Depths beneath Hyrule, and Brightbloom Seeds can be used to light the way for you if you throw them at the ground or the walls. It’s also not a bad idea to cook up some Gloom-resistant meals since the Depths are full of it.

Forge Construct #1 – The Great Sky Island Plateau

You will encounter the first Forge Construct location at the beginning of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It is located at coordinates 0472, -1680, 1371 on the Great Sky Island. You can quickly get to this Forge Construct by fast-traveling to Nachoyah Shrine and heading down.

Forge Construct #2 – Great Abandoned Central Mine

Another Forge Construct can be found at the Great Abandoned Central Mine deep in the Depths. The exact coordinates are -0861, -1941, and -0522. The fastest way to get to this location is by going down through the Forest of Time Chasm and heading west until you hit the Great Abandoned Central Mine. You must defeat Master Kohga before you can unlock the ability to interact with the Forge Construct, so be ready for a fight.

Forge Construct #3 – Abandoned Kara Kara Mine

Players can find another Forge Construct at the Abandoned Kara Kara Mine in the Depths at coordinates -3186, -2508, and -0475. This Forge Construct is found directly underneath Kara Kara Bazaar in the Gerudo Desert. So I put my marker on Kara Kara Bazaar, switched to the depths, and added a pin — knowing exactly where to go. My advice is to take the Birida Lookout Chasm and head south.

Forge Construct #4 – Abandoned Gerudo Mine

A Forge Construct can be found at the Abandoned Gerudo Mine in the Depths at coordinates -3880, -2966, and -0434. This location is located directly beneath Gerudo Town. I found it most straightforward to get here by taking the Birida Lookout Chasm and heading south — just like the Kara Kara Bazaar mine.

Forge Construct #5 – Abandoned Hateno Village

Players can find another Forge Construct at the Abandoned Hateno Village in the Depths at coordinates 3527, -2188, and -0588. It is directly beneath Hateno Village in East Necluda and can be easily reached by taking the Naydra Snowfield Chasm and heading south.

Forge Construct #6 – Abandoned Lurelin Mine

The last Forge Construct can be found at the Abandoned Lurelin Mine in the Depths at coordinates 2948, -3373, and -0453. It is directly beneath Lurelin Village, located near Gogobi Shores in the southernmost part of the map. I took the Meda Mountain Chasm in East Necluda and headed south, which resulted in me getting there quickly.

Forge Construct #7 – Abandoned Lanayru Mine

Another Forge Construct can be found at the Abandoned Lanayru Mine, located in the Depths at coordinates 3255, 0559, -0750, in the Lanayru region. This mine is directly beneath Zora’s Domain, and you can easily get there by going through the South Akkala Plains Chasm. Just follow the Zora statues until you find the mine. Since the area is dark and quite dangerous, it might be a good idea to bring some Brightbloom Seeds and Gloom-resistant meals with you.

Forge Construct #8 – Abandoned Eldin Mine

Another Forge Construct is located at the Abandoned Eldin Mine in the Depths at coordinates 1688, 2388, -0824. This mine is found directly beneath the Death Mountain region. Due to the intense heat in this area, you should wear Flamebreaker Armor or have some Fireproof Elixirs ready. To reach this location, head down the chasm near Gortram Cliff and move southeast towards the Cugukaram Lightroot.

Forge Construct #9 – Abandoned Kakariko Mine

This Forge Construct is situated at the Abandoned Kakariko Mine in the Depths at coordinates 1776, -1183, -0629. It is directly beneath Kakariko Village in the West Necluda region. You can access it by dropping down the chasm near Sahasra Slope and traveling south. The area is quite dark, so be prepared with Brightbloom Seeds and Gloom-resistant meals to safely navigate the mine.

Forge Construct #10 – Abandoned Tarrey Mine

The Abandoned Tarrey Mine houses another Forge Construct at coordinates 3959, 1568, -0576. It is directly beneath Tarrey Town in the Akkala region. To find this mine, jump into the East Akkala Plains Chasm and head south. Follow the pathway near the wall until you reach the mine. This location is ideal for players exploring the northern parts of the Depths.

Forge Construct #11 – Abandoned Hebra Mine

The final Forge Construct can be found at the Abandoned Hebra Mine in the Depths at coordinates -2463, 1904, -0417. This location is directly beneath Rito Village in the Hebra region. You can only access this mine by descending through a chasm hidden behind a wall near Rito Village. Be prepared for a challenging fight with Master Kohga, as this is where your final encounter with him will take place.

Amber isn’t particularly rare, but given the vastness of the in-game world, finding it can still be challenging. Don’t worry, though—we’re here to help! Here are the best Amber farming locations in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Top Amber Farming Spots in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

Amber can be found within any cave that has Mineral Deposits inside. These are black-like crystals that give off a shine to them. Here is a picture of a Mineral Deposit for reference.

After searching around Hyrule, I had luck finding Amber in mostly all caves I came across. Two worth mentioning are the Cave Under Sahasra Slope and the Whistling Hill Cave. That said, three locations had the most amount of Amber and can be considered great farming spots. Here are the best Amber farming spots in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Best Amber Farming Spot #1 – The Cave Under Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower

Just east of Necluda and Lanayru, you will find this Skyview Tower. This cave is mandatory to get into the Sahara Slope Skyview Tower and activate it — but while you’re in the cave, you will find tons of Mineral Deposits with Amber inside them. Just smash them with your weapon, and you should have enough Amber to make a good buck!

Best Amber Farming Spot #2 – Whistling Hill Cave

Just south of Lookout Landing and Hyrule Field region, you will find Whistling Hill. Go past whistling hill to see the Whistling Hill Cave, which has tons of Mineral Deposits for some good ole fashion Amber farming. For quick travel — fast travel to Hyrule Field Skyview Tower and fly east.

Best Amber Farming Spot #3 – Royal Hidden Passage

This is the best Amber farming spot I have found out of all Tears of the Kingdom’s caves. Underneath Lookout landing, a passageway leads directly from the Emergency Shelter to Hyrule Castle.

The passageway is exceptionally long, but along the way are Mineral Deposits left and right — leading to a bunch of Amber for your selling needs. You can get to the Royal Hidden Passage by heading into the center of Lookout Landing, going down the ladder, through the small crawlspace, and running past the Horned Statue.

The Best Battle Talus Amber Farm Locations Amber Farming Spots in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

After defeating them, you’ll find a Black Ore mine sitting on the platforms the Battle Talus were standing on. The coordinates of the five battle talus locations have been provided below.

When Does Amber and Other Items Respawn in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

After you have exhausted these spots and claimed all the Amber inside, they will respawn after a Blood Moon rises. Blood Moons respawn mostly everything in the game, including monster locations, items, and weapons — making it the perfect way to farm anything you would like in the game. Remember that a Blood Moon occurs every seven in-game days, so patience is crucial as you wait for everything to respawn!

In the Heroes side job in Cyberpunk 2077, Mama Welles holds an ofrenda for her late son Jackie. Unfortunately, your options are limited, so here’s the best thing you should bring to the Cyberpunk 2077 ofrenda offering.

What Should You Choose for the Ofrenda in Cyberpunk 2077?

The item with the most narrative impact in this quest is Jackie’s Belt. That said, it’s important to note that every single one of these things will affect future dialogues in slightly different ways as the story unfolds.

You can only bring one thing to the Cyberpunk ofrenda offering.

The book and a basketball can be found in the first room while the key to the second room is located next to the beer. If you get hold of the key, go ahead to the second floor to get a tequila bottle and a Jackie’s Belt. Did you take everything or touch it? Make sure to select “take all” to add everything you can to your inventory.

However, to get the best outcome of this quest, convince Misty to come with you to El Coyote Cojo to attend the Ofrenda. Once at the Ofrenda, you can choose which items to place on the altar from your inventory. After the cyberpunk ofrenda offering ends, speak to Mama Welles and tell her Misty was critical of Jackie. However, you’ll still get the keys to Jackie’s motorcycle regardless of telling Mama Welles about Misty.

Can You Get Jackie’s Bike if You Answer No to Mama Welles?

At the end of the Heroes quest and completing the cyberpunk ofrenda offering, Mame Welles will offer you Jackie’s Bike. You can either accept the bike and grab the keys, or answer no to Mama Welles, which will rid you of receiving the bike. Unfortunately, if you answer no, you won’t be able to get Jackie’s Bike through the Heroes quest.

If you accidentally said no to Mama Welles and want the bike, your best bet is to reload a save file. I made the mistake of saying no and reloading a save file from before the quest was my savior. Doing this, you will have to redo all the steps mentioned in this guide, but you will also receive Jackie’s Bike.

That said, if you missed the bike by saying no initially, Mama Welles will leave the keys outside your apartment later, so you can still get it without reloading a previous save.

Making sure you get Jackie’s Bike is highly recommended, considering it’s most players’ first and best vehicle in the Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough. Having a vehicle makes exploring and getting between quest waypoints much easier.

What Happens if You Send Jackie to Viktor?

When deciding on where to send Jackie, the player has the option to send him to Viktor. If you choose to send Jackie to Viktor, you will be locked out of the rest of the quest and won’t be invited to the ofrenda mentioned earlier. Instead, Mama Welles will leave a box outside of V’s home that contains the keys to Jackie’s Bike. In other words, you will still receive Jackie Bike as a vehicle.

While this decision isn’t recommended, it’s not the end of the world, considering Mama Welles won’t be mad at you. You can actually call Mama Welles on your cellphone, and she will speak to you and wish you all the best.

Some quests in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have more prerequisites than others. The Honey, Be Mine quest makes you get the Stable Trotters to serenade Cotera.

How Do You Get the Sound of a Drum for the Great Fairy in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)?

Travel to Dueling Peaks Stable in West Necluda and head north across Kakariko Bridge.
Find Beetz camped along the road and start the “Honey, Bee Mine” side quest.
Collect Courser Bee Hives from the woods near East Hill Chasm and return them to Beetz.
Beetz returns to Dueling Peaks Stable to join the other musicians.
Talk to Mastro and use Ultrahand to build a fan-powered boat with Zonai devices.
Attach the musicians’ wagon, Breezer, to the boat, and cross the river to the Great Fairy Cotera.
The musicians will perform, and Cotera will grant you access to clothing upgrades.

If you’ve completed your first Great Fairy quest with Tera at the Woodland Stable, this is how you’ll get the sound of the drum for Great Fairy Cotera in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

From Dueling Peaks Stable, go north across Kakariko Bridge, then along the road going east; just as it turns toward the north, you’ll see a small hidden entrance to the side where Beetz has camped out. Speak to Beetz to get the ‘Honey, Bee Mine’ side quest, then go north near East Hill Chasm, where you can find lots of Courser Bee Hives among the trees.

Prepare the Stable Trotters to Serenade Cotera

Bring the hives to Beetz and he’ll come back to Dueling Peaks Stable, and join the musicians you’ve already met. Speak to them, then meet them near the river. You’ll need to talk to Mastro to allow yourself to move their wagon, Breezer, after which you must build a sturdy fan boat as pictured, attach Breezer to the top, and then tell Mastro to hop in.

Drive the fan-powered boat across the water directly toward Great Fairy Cotera! Once you reach the fountain, a cutscene will play out showing the serenade performed for the great fairy.

This is how you get the sound of a drum for the great fairy in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)! After the serenade, Cotera will be available to enhance Link’s clothing as long as you have the proper material.

I came across Cotera and figured this would not be a lengthy task, but in my playthrough, I hadn’t even seen the other fountains yet. Turns out you have to fulfill some prerequisites before you can take the above steps!

Why Does Beetz Not Come to Play the Drum the Great Fairy in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

To make sure that Beetz will appear, you must first make sure to do the following:

Complete the Lucky Clover Gazette questline
Assist the Stable Trotters at Woodland Stable
Visit all known Great Fairy locations

You can start the Lucky Clover Gazette questline by visiting when you’re around Rito Village. As for the rest, you can’t unlock the Great Fairy Cotera unless you have finished the Great Fairy Tera quest near the Woodland Stable. To ensure that Beetz will show up, consider completing all the previous Great Fairy quests.

This one is a bit roundabout but if you find Cotera near the Dueling Peaks Stable you’ll need to join the Lucky Clover Gazette. Our very own Christian Bognar has thoughtfully provided a guide on how to do this!

Afterward, go to Woodland Stable near the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower and speak to the Stable Trotters, a traveling musician troupe. Get the towing harness for 3 Pony Points from the side counter inside the Stable.Take a horse with the harness and attach the harness to Breezer.

Make sure the Mastro knows and he’ll hop in with Violynne. Hop on your horse and ride toward Great Fairy Tera, completing the quest. She’ll join up for any other trips to Great Fairies you need to serenade.

Rewards for Serenading Great Fairy Cotera

Once you finish this quest, you unlock clothing enhancements for Link. This alone is worth all the trouble as this allows you to add unique effects to his armor. With the right upgrades, Link will enjoy things like greater defense, increased Stealth, and better climbing speed.

Some players might consider this quest tedious, but it’s probably more fun than just amassing rupees like in Breath of the Wild to do the same thing.

Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties Choices: Wear the Mask, Give it to Ciro, or Reject it?

Dying Light 2’s Bloody Ties DLC is a combat-filled romp with an equal mix of arena fights and family drama, and all of it culminates in a climactic decision at the very end. Should Aiden become the new champion of Carnage Hall? Should he pass the mask onto Ciro?

Should he reject the mask entirely? Depending on your decisions throughout the story of Bloody Ties, some of these options may not even be available, too. Here’s a breakdown of every possible ending in Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties.

Should You Wear the Champion Mask in Dying Light 2?

There are three possible outcomes after defeating Skullface at the end of the Bloody Ties DLC in Dying Light 2.

“I am the new champion.”
“Ciro should wear this mask.”
“I want no part of this.”

The option to have Ciro wear the mask only appears if Ciro is still alive at the end of Bloody Ties. If he’s dead, you will only be able to choose the other two options. Here’s what happens in each outcome.

“I am the new champion.”

If you choose this potion, then Aiden will wear the mask and the crowd will erupt with cheers. This option gives you the Champion’s Skull artifact helmet as a reward.

“Ciro should wear this mask.”

This option is only available if you chose to forfeit the fight and let Ciro live earlier in the DLC. In this outcome, Ciro takes the mask and you don’t get the Champion’s Skull helmet.

“I want no part of this.”

This option is only available if Ciro dies during the Bloody Ties DLC. In this ending, Aiden tosses the mask aside and you will not receive the Champion’s Skull helmet.

Which Ending is the Best?

Ultimately, it comes down to whether you want the Champion’s Skull helmet or not. Aiden either takes it or passes it off to Ciro. If Ciro’s dead, then Aiden just rejects the mask instead. The ending of Bloody Ties won’t affect anything in the main game since it’s just a DLC side story, so there’s no need to worry about anything else outside of the reward.

Fields of Mistria‘s early access has been wildly successful, with well over 200,000 downloads since it originally launched and counting. The game is a refreshing, approachable spin on classic farm sims with inspirations being found in everything from Stardew Valley to Sailor Moon.

One of the biggest draws to a classic farming simulator are the romance options – and Fields of Mistria delivers. Currently, the game offers ten options for players to get cozy with, and even though, as of writing, players can only get their love interest to four hearts, it’s clear which characters will have the best love stories.

While this is all subjective, from our experience with Fields of Mistria so far, we wanted to talk down where we think each of the current romance candidates rank among one another.

Celine

One of the most recognizable faces in the game, Celine is used in much of the official marketing for Fields of Mistria. Her bubbly, kind demeanor perfectly compliments her love for flowers. Plus, with her little cottage being located so close to the player’s farm, it’s easy to run into to her while running errands in and out of the main town.

However, despite all her charm, Celine fits a little too snugly into the tried-and-true “girl next door” archetype. There’s nothing wrong with this, and she is a wonderful character to get close to, with her current heart events consisting of fun, laid back slice-of-life goodness, but some of the other romance options have her beat in terms of content.

Reina

Reina works at the local inn as the head chef – and for good reason. Everyone in Mistria will routinely gush about Reina’s cooking skills, and if you visit on Fridays, players can see her in action. Reina is extremely dedicated to her craft, something players romancing her get to experience once they reach her two heart event.

Reina is an extremely fun character to romance, if anything due to her passion for her craft. Her favorite gifts are, of course, a variety of different dishes – so if you want to win your heart, you’ll have to match her experienced palette. The only reason Reina is beat out by other candidates is because her current heart events, while showing off her passion for cooking, doesn’t explore more about her other personality traits.

Balor

Cunning, suave, and perhaps not all too trustworthy, Balor is a traveling merchant that the player meets during Fields of Mistria‘s prologue along the eastern part of the map. It’s pretty simple to win Balor over – the player just needs to give him gems and other goodies.

A character like Balor is typically a fan-favorite, but his current heart events don’t explore much past his cunning salesmen act just yet, holding him back from ranking higher amid some of Mistria’s other eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. That said, it does seem like Balor has a soft side, and even mentions a desire to settle down while admiring the relationship between Josephine and Hemlock.

Hayden

Having a neighboring farmer is pretty standard in farming sims. Sometimes these neighbors are friendly guides that help you get started, and others view you as a rival, attempting to one up players at any given moment. Hayden falls into the former category, with his farm being located right next door to the player character with his sassy pet chicken, Henrietta.

Normally, a character like Hayden would suffer from the same tropes as Celine, but his eccentric love for his chicken companion and accident-prone nature makes him an absolute delight to chat with, and can make even the busiest of farmers break a smile while keeping up with his antics. His heart events are equally comedic, with his two heart event seeing March get put in his place by Henrietta.

Juniper

The mysterious bathhouse owner with a love for everything witchy, Juniper is one of the most compelling townsfolk in Fields of Mistria, partially due to her direct ties to witchcraft and the age of witches that’s been hinted at in the game’s story. Crafty and a touch vain, Juniper’s heart events open a narrative of her promising not to test her cauldron’s concoctions on the townspeople of Mistria as long as the player promises to be her test subject.

Plus, Juniper is, surprisingly enough, a dog person. Her adorable and very sleepy companion Dozy hangs around the bathhouse on his special dog bed. Funnily enough, Dozy also hits at juniper’s soft side, withe her occasionally commenting on how the lattes that Darcy makes her at the Saturday Market are too cute to drink because the barista drew Dozy in the foam.

Valen

Valen is a woman that keeps a lot of secrets. Easygoing, cool and kind, Mistria’s resident doctor is devoted to making sure that everyone in the tiny village stays healthy – but that doesn’t explain the massive laboratory located in her basement. In her two heart event, she brushes away any attempt the player makes to learn more about her lab, but in her four heart event, she opens up a little bit.

Similar to Juniper, Valen wants help with her experiments, but unlike Juniper, she won’t force or manipulate you into helping her out. While there’s still a lot of mystery surrounding her basement lab and her true motives, the narrative unfolding is compelling enough to make her one of the more interesting romance options in the game.

Ryis

A fellow newcomer to Mistria, Ryis is a city boy who’s moved in with his uncle to help Mistria recover from the earthquake that devastated the area before the player’s arrival. Ryis is hardworking but easygoing, and players will encounter him often, since he usually has a role to play in the different events and quests to help beautify the area.

Part of the reason Ryis is such a lovable option is that his heart events make it clear that he’s openly interested in the player character. He’s the perfect friends-to-lovers archetype, and in his four heart event, players get to have a more intimate look at who he is outside of work.

Eiland

One of the baron’s children spearheading the initiative to help Mistria recover after the earthquake, Eiland is a history nerd that loves talking about days past, as well as ancient and modern customs. Eiland is passionate and dedicated to uncovering the many secrets being held in Mistria, but also has a deep love for sweets – something he’ll bring up, often, when the player speaks with him.

While Eiland’s heart events have been focused on uncovering the Dragonsworn’s legendary armor set so far, his romance route gives players a deeper understanding of the game’s lore and future plot threads the game is setting up. Additionally, Eiland’s hobbies outside of his archaeological practices – especially his ravenous sweet tooth – make him all the more endearing as a potential partner.

Adeline

Eiland’s sister and certified workaholic who initially brings the player to Mistria to aid in their recovery efforts, Adeline is hardworking and devoted to her people, rarely taking time to just be with herself outside of Friday Nights at the Inn. That said, she does still give some of her limited free time to the player during her heart events, even if it’s usually talking about work.

Something that makes Adeline so charming, and also makes her one of the best love interests in Fields of Mistria is how her romance ties in with what players are doing. Considering Adeline is so integral to the main quests in the game, she feels extremely fleshed out. Plus, despite her noble appearance, she’s incredibly humble and down to Earth. While we don’t know what the future of her romance will look like, both her two and four heart events set up a great progression of her as a character, and her reliance on the player for Mistria’s future.

March

Unsurprisingly, the rough-and-tough blacksmith has won just about everyone’s heart, easily making him the best romance candidate in Fields of Mistria so far. When the player first moves into Mistria, March doesn’t try to hide his disdain for their presence, and only softens up when he gets a little tipsy during Friday Nights at the Inn.

Despite this, once the player finally reaches his fourth heart event – they can finally get March to crack a genuine smile. While we still don’t know what the rest of his romance will look like, his one-sided “enemies to lovers” tsundere act is enough to make him everyone’s favorite bachelor.

All Cult of the Lamb Map Icons, Explained

Outside of Cult management and daily sermons, one of the most significant parts of gameplay within Cult of the Lamb are the crusades you will have to go on to collect resources and followers and eventually face the bishops. But these crusades are not as simple as they sound, and there are several elements to the map which you will need to become familiar with should you want to maximize the output of each dungeon. So read on to find out everything you need about map icons in Cult of the Lamb.

Every Map Icon (or Symbol) in Cult of the Lamb

During the crusades in Cult of the Lamb, you will encounter several icons within each map to mark your journey. In total, across all four dungeons, there are 14 different icons that all benefit your adventure in one way or another. For example, while some propose a more significant threat with more enemies, others will provide some time to forage for food or resources to take back to your cult. These icons are essential to know the ins and outs of, especially since they can be so vital to your journey.

Each area you visit will have a different length map. Darkwood is predominantly the most accessible area to face since it has a relatively small map and is incredibly easy to navigate; however, this usually means you won’t experience many new and rewarding icons. But once you reach Anchordeep and Silk Cradle, you’ll begin to experience many different icons, so it’s essential to know which ones are worth visiting to make the most of each of your crusades.

Normal Fight

Standard run-of-the-mill combat will be signified on the map by an inverted crucifix. There’s nothing particularly out of the ordinary with these areas, and you will experience these more than anything else during the crusades. These areas consist of several rooms you will have to explore, slaying enemies until you reach the staircase to the next place, but at least it’s an excellent excuse to farm some materials and practice with your weapon before facing the final boss.

Hearts

These map areas are precious for any player who has taken a beating during the rest of the crusade. There’s no denying that health is hard to come by in Cult of the Lamb, so it’s best to ensure you have ample hearts when necessary. These areas will be marked with a heart on the crusade map and consist of one room where you will visit an NPC called Ratoo. He will restore the Lamb to total health with a few additional blue hearts to ensure you can progress through the rest of the map.

Coins

For a player desperate to get some extra cash, these coin rooms are vital to visit. Signified by a coin on the map, these areas are similar to standard fights, but the resource will be in excess. So rather than collecting something like Stone or Lumber, you can line your pockets with some extra gold before facing the last heretic.

Lumber and Stone

During the early hours of your time with Cult of the Lamb, you will need to make sure you have as much Lumber and Stone as possible, as once you start crafting, they will be in incredibly short supply. Lumber rooms are marked with a log on the overview map and consist of a single room filled with trees or buildings to destroy, all of which drop an ample supply of wood for you to collect and take home to craft your decorations. Stone rooms work similarly, yet are symbolized by a rock icon on the map, and the room will be filled with large stones instead of a log.

Food

Keeping your cult happy and healthy is another essential part of Cult of the Lamb, so you must also ensure you’re keeping them fed. Alongside growing your own food and making the most of the extra hands at camp, you’ll need to gather a few additional resources along the journey to ensure you have the right ingredients when it’s dinner time. Food rooms are signified by a turnip and a few berries on the map, and each room is filled with berry bushes ready to be harvested. For an extra meal or two, be sure to destroy the campfires made by heretics for a few bits of meat to drop.

Event

Event Rooms are remarkably unpredictable. They are symbolized by a question mark on the map and can host a variety of things, both good and bad. While one event may allow you to increase the loyalty and devotion of one of your followers, there’s a chance you may walk away with every enemy you’re about to encounter strengthened. Therefore, these rooms are worth the risk if you find them since they can potentially buff the rest of your experience within the crusade but be prepared for it to have detrimental effects too. They consist of one room where you will interact with an NPC and see what they offer.

Follower

Follower nodes are vital to visit for anyone looking to increase the footfall at their cult, especially when trying to access the final area to meet The One Who Waits. These areas are signified by a figure praying on their knees, and within each follower room, you will have to face several waves of enemies before reaching your new animal pal. However, visiting one of these rooms alongside meeting the miniboss will guarantee at least two new followers, so it’s worth stopping if you can face the hordes of oncoming enemies.

Shop

Like the event node, Shop spaces can also be sporadic in their stock. Occasionally, these will be another way to access new followers, but they may also grant you access to things like decor blueprints or tarot cards. More often than not, you will need to exchange gold for goods, but you may stumble across a deal now and then. These icons are signified by a small house on the map, and for an insight into what they will stock, keep an eye out for the red ribbon at the bottom of the diamond. Once again, these areas consist of one room where you can access the shop before heading to the next area.

Tarot

Tarot icons are the key to visiting Clauneck, in case you haven’t encountered his tent during your crusade. These areas are signified by a single card, and consist of a single room where you can speak to Clauneck and select your tarot card. However, if you have the doctrine in place, which pulls four tarot cards at the beginning of the crusade, you will not have access to any further tarot during your time with the game. So Clauneck’s areas will not appear on the map at all.

Bones

Symbolized by two bones on the maps, these areas are primarily there to harvest bones. So whether you need to collect for the following funeral, for a follower request, or to create some haunting decorations for your cult, these rooms are a must-visit. Like Stone and Lumber rooms, you can spend time destroying structures to harvest the resources before moving on.

Pray

The Pray rooms are signified by a red crown icon on the map, and you can visit these rooms and receive some perks. Unlike the event rooms, these rewards are predominantly positive and come as gifts from The One Who Waits. These rooms also consist of a single area with an altar where the prayer will commence.

Miniboss

At the end of each crusade, you will have to face a miniboss. These are marked at the top of each map by a skull and two daggers and are essentially the end point of each crusade. You will enter one large hall and face a large boss in these areas. Once defeated, you can select one of three rewards and indoctrinate a new follower. These minibosses usually lead to the final Bishop fight if you have gone through the crusade four times.

Bishop Fight

Bishop Fights are signified by a similar crown icon to the prayer icons, but instead of showcasing a red eye, they will have a diamond-shaped green eye. These boss battles are far more intense than minibosses, and you should be sure to have total health before entering the final fight. These areas will only appear once you have visited and completed a dungeon four times and will take the place of the miniboss logos. They consist of a large hall, which you will enter before engaging in the final battle with one of the four bishops.

Alongside standard icons showcased across the entire crusade map, there is a chance that each area you explore will have an additional bonus signified by a red ribbon below the icon. For example, the shop icon will tell you what’s for sale, be it decor or a new follower, there’s a chance that the loss of red hearts can bring blue hearts forward or something as simple as double gold. When looking for the ideal path to take, depending on whether you’re going on a crusade for something in particular, it’s essential to keep an eye on the map. No two crusades will ever be the same, which is part of the charm of Cult of the Lamb.

Both locations can only be accessed during Act 3. The Facemaker’s Boutique is in the Lower City part of Baldur’s Gate, and Carm’s Garm is in Rivington.

You’ll find the Facemaker’s Boutique clothing store in the north easternmost portion of the Lower City (Baldur’s Gate) map at coordinates X: -163, Y: -127.

To help you easily find where the Facemaker’s Boutique is in BG3, look above The Glitter Gala (in map view) and in front of the Baldur’s Gate Waypoint, which will be located right from the House of Grief and directly below the map’s north entrance.

Carm’s Garm BG3 Clothing Store Location

The other store is Carm’s Garm. It’s located in Rivington right before you enter Baldur’s Gate, near the Wyrm’s Crossing waypoint at Coordinates X: 16, Y: 134.

You can find Carm’s Garm on the north end of Rivington. Right before the entrance into Baldur’s Gate in Wyrm’s Crossing, turn right and you’ll walk right into Carm’s Garm. It’s right across from Danthelon’s Dancing Axe.

When Can You Find These Clothing Stores in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Sadly, the Facemaker’s Boutique and Carm’s Garm Clothing Stores are only found in Act 3. To our knowledge, there isn’t a Clothing Store in Act 1 or 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, so your fashion game is going to have to wait. Alternatively, you can get creative with what you pick up in those Acts, which we definitely recommend!

Facemaker’s Boutique and Carm’s Garm will feature exclusive sets of clothing, hats, and undergarments. Examples like the Elegant Robe and the Angelic Scion Outfit can be purchased relatively cheap. The Elegant Robe is currently available for 353 Gold Pieces, while the Angelic Scion Outfit will be available for 284.

There are also many other unique and cool-looking pieces of gear to acquire in Facemaker’s Boutique and Carm’s Garm, so shop around and grab what catches your eye. While the gear in these shops isn’t likely to replace your armor, you will look pretty suave when you return to camp. I always enjoy this option in RPGs, often appreciating the chance to craft or customize my gear to look my best.

I particularly like looking fancy in game, so I always check the stores. In addition, the game allows you to change the look of your character by alternating between the combat equipment and the camp clothes without affecting your stats. Also, the clothing stores sell dye, which you can use to change the color of your armor and clothes.

Where Do You Get Outfits in BG3?

The clothing stores are the only two stores where players can buy new clothes in the game. However, you don’t get to wait until you reach Act 3 to change your character’s clothes. Many players believe that Exxvikyap, Lorroakan, Roah Moonglow, and Lann Tarv are the best merchants in BG3. Honestly, I don’t think there’s such a thing as a single best merchant in Baldur’s Gate 3. Although I agree they have interesting items, including magic items and scrolls, there’s no single best merchant in Baldur’s Gate 3. Lorroakan’s magic scrolls won’t do any good to you if you want new clothes. Each serves a different purpose, and you should try to visit them all if you have the chance.

Can You Find Quests at Carm’s Garm or Facemaker’s Boutique Clothing Stores in BG3?

When visiting Carm’s Garm, you might stumble upon an NPC called Naaber. He seems to be a nod to Nüber and Noober, similar NPCs from previous Baldur’s Gate games. Talking to him until dialogue options are exhausted means you will have completed the “Patience is a Virtue” quest. Your reward is the Absolute Confidence Amulet, which grants you +1 to Performance checks and -1 to Intimidation checks.

The way Genshin Impact allows its characters to perform well in multiple roles gives players the ability to create some unusual but highly effective builds. In one such build, which we like to call “Killer Melody”, you can unlock the dormant DPS potential of Barbara, the Deaconess of the Church of Favonius.

Now, to help you unleash the full potential of Mondstadt’s top idol, here’s how to build Barbara as a top Elemental DPS in Genshin Impact.

Is DPS Barbara Viable?

A common saying in the Genshin Impact community is that, with enough effort, love, and resources, any build is possible. True to that, Barbara can indeed be used as a situational top-tier Hydro main DPS, but doing so will require a very specific rotation and build.

Best Artifacts for DPS Barbara

To build Barbara as a DPS you will need three things. First, you need to equip her with either a 4-piece Shimenawa’s Reminiscence (top-pick), a 4-piece Heart of Depth, or a 4-piece Wanderer’s Troupe artifact set.

The reason for that lies in the way that all sets will massively increase Barbara’s charged attack damage (which will be her main weapon as a DPS given her massive scaling). Shimenawa’s Reminiscence and Hearth of the Depth will offer a 50% and 35% increase after she performs her Skill, respectively, while Wanderer’s Troupe will provide her with a 30% increase.

You can check out the best main stats for each Barbara artifact piece below, no matter if you choose Heart of Depth, Shimenawa’s Reminiscence, or Wanderer’s Troupe. Substat-wise, I recommend that you prioritize CRIT Rate/DMG and ATK.

Although an avid player, it took me a long time to get Artifacts with the right stats/substats for Barbara. If you find yourself in the same situation, just keep at it and use the best ones at your disposal while keeping in mind that this is where you eventually want to get to make the best Barbara DPS build. When building Barbara as a DPS, you need to prioritize her normal/charged attacks when ascending her skills.

The Best Weapons for Main DPS Barbara

The second must-have for our DPS Barbara build is a catalyst capable of buffing her damage. We recommend using either the 5-star Catalyst Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, the 5-star Catalyst Skyward Atlas, or the 4-star Catalyst The Widsith (R3 to R5).

These Catalysts are my main picks as they will either offer her a high amount of CRIT Rate and DMG (Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds and The Widsith, respectively) or provide a massive amount of ATK while also increasing her overall Elemental DMG (Skyward Atlas). Cashflow Supervision and Tome of the Eternal Flow are also guaranteed hits for Barbara given their massive buffs in Charged Attack.

The Must-Have Teams for DPS Barbara

The third must-have for those looking to use Barbara as a DPS is a C1+ Bennett equipped with a full Noblesse Oblige set. While Bennett will be true to his title as the game’s best overall buffer, the set will further enhance his already massive ATK increase.

Using an Anemo character (ideally either Kaedehara Kazuha or Sucrose) equipped with a 4-piece Viridescent Venerer set is also a must, given the way they will allow you to, by using the set’s 4-piece effect alone, increase Barbara’s damage by decreasing the defense of all enemies by 40% after a Swirl reaction. Using Jean for the role can also work, but she will not be able to offer any team-focused buffs apart from the set’s 4-piece effect.

For the fourth party member slot, we recommend the use of a Shielder like Albedo or Zhongli, or that of either a Charged Attack buffer or a Pyro Sub-DPS. Our top picks for the latter roles would be Shenhe and Xiangling respectively. Making use of characters like Fischl or Beidou to add the Electro-Charged reaction to the mix for an increase in damage can also do well.

Among the above picks, Xiangling will offer the biggest overall DPS by a massive margin if equipped with either a 4-piece Crimson Witch of Flames or a 4-piece Emblem of Severed Fate set.

To reiterate, here is what is required to make the best DPS Barbara build in Genshin Impact:

A 4-piece Shimenawa’s Reminiscence, Heart of Depth, or Wanderer’s Troupe set.
A catalyst focused on increasing her damage. Prioritize those who offer increases in either CRIT Rate or DMG.
A team featuring a C1 Bennett with a full Noblesse Oblige set and an Anemo character equipped with a full Viridescent Venerer set.

Recommended Rotations

The best rotation for an Elemental DPS Barbara will in my opinion use her, an Anemo VV user, and Bennett, as well as either a shielder (Albedo/Zhongli) or Xiangling, who will work as she does in the Raiden National composition or its Childe variant (by enabling reactions and dealing high amounts of Pyro DMG).

When on the field, begin the rotation by shielding your party (if possible) and then applying Hydro with Barbara before switching and using your Anemo character of choice to generate Swirl. After that, change to Bennett and use his Elemental Burst, before sending Barbara again to the field to perform her skill and then send a wave of non-stop charged attacks. If Xiangling is your pick instead of a shielder, use her Burst before putting Barbara on the field for the second time.

How to Play DPS Barbara

When playing Barbara as a DPS, the key lies in being able to perform sequential Charged Attacks without interruption. Although those using a shielder will have a way easier time doing that given the invulnerability offered by them, you will be able to excel without them by staying well placed in the field. To make the best out of Barabra in both scenarios, focus on avoiding attacks by jumping and only performing dodges when in do-or-die situations, as you will need to conserve your Stamina to perform her Charged Attacks.

Is Barbara Better as a Healer or as a DPS?

Barbara can be considered a better healer than she is a DPS. The reason for that lies in the fact that, although she will be able to excel in optimal scenarios if you use our recommended build, she can effortlessly work a way wider array of teams and scenarios as a dedicated healer.

Once at C6, she becomes even more vital for those struggling, as she will be able to revive 1 team member every 15 minutes. While performing her designed role, Barbara can also fill in as an excellent reaction trigger, given her ability to constantly apply Hydro.

How To Increase Astarion’s Approval in Baldur’s Gate 3

While Astarion is a tragic character with remarkable depth, he’s a simple man who knows what he likes. Astarion is incredibly easy to read no matter how mysterious he thinks he’s being. To get Astarion to like you, you’re going to have to be tricky, deceitful, and clever.

Astarion’s Likes

Astarion likes any dialogue options that are rude and uncaring toward other people. If you can crack a joke at another’s expense or brush off their problems entirely then you’ll get along with Astarion just fine. He’s not turly evil, like Minthara, but he’ll do whatever it takes to come out on top, no matter who gets hurt in the process. Be cutthroat, and he’ll like you.

Astarion likes the pursuit of power. He sees the Illithid tadpole in your heads as a chance to rise above those who have wronged him. He wants to put people in their place. Talk down to people and give in to your Illithid powers to get the upper hand whenever you can.

Astarion is also a Rogue, so he likes cunning, crafty, and deceptive strategies. Talking your way out of a situation with a Charisma check will usually net you some approval points with Astarion, as will picking locks and sneaking into places where you’re not supposed to be. Think like the stereotypical D&D rogue and roleplay that.

Astarion is also a vampire. If you let him suck your blood regularly, he’ll be a happy man, and if you show a genuine interest in his past and show him compassion, even if he’s reluctant, he’ll grow to trust you.

To recap, here’s what you should prioritize to make Astarion like you:

Be rude and mean.
Enjoy your Illithid powers.
Be sneaky, crafty, and cunning.
Let him suck your blood.
Flatter him.

Astarion’s Dislikes

Anything that a stereotypical good adventurer would do, Astarion isn’t fond of. He won’t hate you if you’re playing a lawful good character, but he won’t love you for it, either. Going out of your way to help those in need or being sympathetic at all is a surefire way to lose approval points.

As for the tadpole, rejecting it in any form will lose approval points with Astarion. It’s a tool to him, a useful one that will prevent anyone from ever hurting him again. It’s not a morality issue to him, so don’t treat it like one. You have a worm in your head and it’s awesome. Use it to make some people suffer.

Of course, this should come across as obvious, but don’t be mean about the whole vampire thing. Let him do what he wants and definitely don’t sell him out to the hunters looking for him. If you act even a little put off by him being a vampire, it’ll be a huge blow to his ego and your approval rating.

Speaking of his ego, you should never insult Astarion under any circumstances. Tell him he’s pretty whenever you have the chance, and give in to his delusions of grandeur whenever possible. If he comes onto you, don’t reject him. These are the biggest mistakes you can make when trying to get Astarion to like you.

Romancing Astarion will take the entire game to pull off effectively, as the progression of his romance storyline are spread throughout all 3 Acts. Astarion’s romance arc follows this general structure:

Sleep with him in Act 1
Hunt down the Orthon for Raphael and speak to the Drow, Araj, in Moonrise, telling her that Astarion can make his own choices in Act 2 and enter a relationship.
Complete Astarion’s companion questline in Act 3 and choose whether to let him ascend, or have him live as a Spawn and set the other vampires free.

Act 1 Romance Choices

In Act 1, your main priority should be building up your approval with Astarion through dialogue choices and quests. You don’t need a ton of them to initiate the romance, but he won’t sleep with you at all if he doesn’t like you at least a little bit.

Just play the game normally until you resolve the conflict at the Emerald Grove. Regardless of your choice between Halsin or Minthara, there’ll be a celebration at camp the following night. Speak to Astarion at the party and choose the dialogue options that imply you want to sleep with him. He’ll mention “a little fun” and you need to act interested in that.

Once you’ve landed a secret rendevous with Astarion, return to your bedroll to end the day and enjoy the romance cutscene. During the romance scene, your choices matter. These are the correct dialogue options:

You don’t have me yet.
And what do you want?
Nod.

This will lead to you sleeping with Astarion, sowing the seeds for a real relationship in Act 2.

In Act 2, continue the main questline until you reach the Temple of Shar. Raphael will ambush you and ask you to defeat an Orthon named Yurgir in exchange for information about Astarion’s strange scars. Astarion doesn’t have to be in your party for this exchange, but it’s best if he is.

The next time you return to camp after accepting Raphael’s quest, Astarion will come to you in the middle of the night. Choose the following dialogue options:

Are you alright?
So do I. More than anything.
I care about you. Deeply.
You are worth a great deal to me, no matter what you’re going through.

If you try to be flirtatious or don’t take him seriously during this encounter, he’ll break up with you because he thinks you only see him as a sexual object. You have to be caring and tender here for the relationship to continue in Act 3.

Act 3 Romance Choices

Once you’re in a relationship with Astarion, there’s very little you can do to ruin it in Act 3. The only thing left to do is pay Cazador a visit and finish his companion questline. There are two endings to Astarion’s romance storyline depending on if you let him complete the ritual and ascend or if you prevent the ritual from happening.

Complete the Ritual and Astarion Ascends

If you let Astarion ascend, then the next romance scene involves you becoming a vampire thrall. You must let him convert you or the relationship will end. Choose the following dialogue options to successfully complete this romance scene:

I want to be a vampire, like you.
Yes, that’s all I want.
Please, yes.

After this, you’ll become Astarion’s vampire thrall and gain the Vampire Bite action during combat just like he has.

Stop the Ritual

If you stop the ritual, Astarion will approach you at camp after the next long rest. The dialogue options don’t matter here as long as you agree to follow him, kicking off the next romance scene. This is a tender scene at Astarion’s grave, and your dialogue choices can’t ruin anything here. You can either accept his advances and sleep with him or choose “Let’s just. stay here. Together.” to end the night without sex.

For example, she really likes it when you stick up for individuals who are getting bullied or manipulated by others. So when you find someone being taken advantage of, jump in and save them.

Karlach’s Dislikes

As previously mentioned, Karlach approves of violence, but only if it’s not mindless and unnecessary. In other words, don’t choose actions that result in someone getting hurt for no good reason at all. This is a surefire way to have the approval go down with Karlach.

Karlach is a brave Tiefling who doesn’t like working with people who act cowardly. Whenever you have the opportunity to show a brave face or take action in a challenging situation, make sure you do it, as Karlach will not respect you if you don’t.

Lastly, under no circumstances whatsoever, do not side with the Goblins or Minthara. Goblins want to eliminate the Tiefling Camp, so if you side with them, your approval rating with Karlach will go way down. Always make sure you put Tieflings first when trying to romance Karlach.

Act 1 Romance & Dialogue Choices

The first step in romancing Karlach in Act 1 is rescuing Halsin from the Goblin Camp and the Refugees in the Grove. Doing so will lead to a celebration at the base camp, where the player can talk to Karlach about what is going on.

Head toward your bed at the camp to start an interaction with Karlach, who will go into detail about an Infernal Engine inside her. Be polite and respectful to Karlach during this interaction, and choose the option to kiss her when the time presents itself.

Act 2 Romance & Dialogue Choices

Since Karlach opened up to you about the Infernal Engine inside her, you’ll need to find a way to cool her down to romance further. The best way to do this is by meeting Dammon, a Tiefling, in Emerald Grove. Speak to him to receive a side quest, sending you to retrieve an Infernal Iron. Once you complete the side quest and bring the Infernal Iron to Dammon, he will create an item that helps Karlach cool down.

For your efforts, the approval rating with Karlach will skyrocket, opening up a bigger chance to romance her. A prompt to talk to Karlach will eventually appear (continue on your journey until it does), and select all the options that align with her likes. Once you sleep in your bed at camp, Karlach will approach you, and you will need to pick the following options:

Let’s take things slowly / Believe me, I can handle myself. And you.
Go on / What did you have in mind?
I’m yours, Karlach / Ah-ah, you first.

During Act 3, once you reach the Lower City, you will have the chance to romance Karlach further if your approval rating is high enough. Karlach will invite you on a date where you can agree, opening up another dialogue option sequence. Choose the following dialogue option:

Choose whichever food and drink option, and keep the conversation going (any choices here are fine) until you can go upstairs with Karlach. When she asks you to go upstairs, you have two options that will work here:

After you.
I’ll happily head upstairs with you, but I want to make sure I’m clear about not wanting to sleep together.

Selecting “After you” will lead to another romantic night together, increasing your relationship with Karlach. If you choose the second option, you will still have a romantic evening together, but it will only involve kissing.

Either choice you make here will still improve your relationship with Karlach, so it just comes down to preference.

If you’re interested in befriending, or even romancing Lae’zel in Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s important to understand her completely, including her likes and dislikes throughout the story.

Lae’zel is hands down one of the best companions Baldur’s Gate 3. She is a formidable Githyanki fighter, considered powerful even among her Mind Flayer-hunting kin. She can be hard to please early in Act 1, but once you get to know her, she has a soft side.

How To Increase Lae’zel’s Approval in Baldur’s Gate 3

Lae’zel, like many other characters of Baldur’s Gate 3, has a strong personality – especially when she joins your party in Act 1. Gaining a character’s approval is key to triggering specific romantic events, and deepening you relationship with them enough to sway them in critical moments throughout the game.

Lae’zel’s Likes

Lae’zel is all about demonstrating power and conviction. She is a powerful fighter who sees diplomacy as a tool used only by weaklings. You can’t appear inferior if you want to earn her admiration. Always behave as a strong and assertive warrior, even when it may be viewed as cruel. Here’s a list of things Lae’zel approves of:

Demonstrating combat skills and prowess.
Taking assertive and decisive actions.
Prioritizing personal goals over helping others.
Expressing determination to find a cure for ceremorphosis.
Supporting self-preservation and acknowledging the need for protection.

Before you can have a romantic scene with Lae’zel, you must progress enough in the campaign for her to notice your actions and make sure that she won’t see you in a negative light. For that to happen, you must consider what she’d think of your actions and choose what to do accordingly. Her perception of you may fluctuate based on the unfolding events in the story and interactions at the campsite.

Act 1 Dialogue & Romance Choices

To romance Lae’zel, you have to make choices to prove to her that you’re capable of being no-nonsense. Her initial romance scene can be unlocked pretty easily, by doing things like letting her put Zorru down in the Tiefling camp. You can also make pro-Gith statements and firmly align yourself with her views while demonstrating strength in roleplay situations. Always choose dialogue options that make you look powerful and threatening, and take Lae’zel’s side when she explains how to deal with the Mind Flayer tadpoles.

Act 2 Dialogue & Romance Choices

If you maintain Lae’zel’s approval, she will eventually admit how much you’ve been on her mind. Then, she will challenge you to a one-on-one duel during a long rest in your camp. Regardless of who wins the duel, her romance will progress.

Winning the duel makes Lae’zel realize you’re strong enough to protect her. However, if Lae’zel wins, she realizes her love for you prevents her from causing you any harm. After this point, the two of you are in an exclusive relationship.

Act 3 Dialogue & Romance Choices

During Act 3, things will depend on what happened to Lae’zel during Act 1 and Act 2. If she remained loyal to the Lich Queen Vlaakith, Lae’zel will eventually end her relationship with you. It seems that being a dragon rider for the Lich Queen while distracting herself with your companionship isn’t something she can balance. If Lae’zel’s loyalty switches and she decides to be loyal to Orpheus instead, your relationship with her will endure and can will influence the game’s ending.

Creating a Cleric in Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most intimidating things for beginners that aren’t familiar with Dungeons & Dragons because there are so many Domains and Deities to choose from. While Domains are more important – since they act as your subclass – your chosen Deity is still essential for roleplaying purposes and interactions with other companions and NPCs throughout the game.

There are 7 Domains to choose from in Baldur’s Gate 3. Each comes with its own list of spells and abilities that will be awarded as you level up. For starters, the BG3 Tempest Cleric Domain is a fan favorite.

While some Domains are commonly associated with certain Deities (the Life Domain is usually associated with good Deities, for example) you can mix and match as you please.

Best Cleric Domain in Baldur’s Gate 3

If you ask me, the best Domain to choose for your Cleric is either the Life Domain or the War Domain. The former is the stereotypical choice for a Cleric, but with good reason, since it allows players to heal and buff allies on the field. Conversely, the latter is excellent for Clerics who don’t want to be shoehorned into a support role. The Tempest Domain also works for this purpose if you prefer lightning magic instead of traditional swordplay.

Life Domain

The Life Domain is associated with many good Deities. It focuses on protective and restorative spells, making it perfect for a support-oriented Cleric. In addition to Heavy Armor Proficiency, this Domain starts with Disciple of Life, which permanently buffs all healing spells by 2 HP.

Nature Domain Clerics are proficient with Heavy Armor, just like Life Domain Clerics, and their unique feature — Acolyte of Nature — lets them learn any Druid cantrip of their choosing and gain proficiency in Animal Handling, Nature, or Survival.

It’s mainly an offensive Domain that provides proficiency with Martial Weapons and Heavy Armor, so it’s perfect for Clerics who want to be on the front lines and deal massive damage. Its unique feature is Wrath of the Storm, a spell that strikes a foe and deals 2-16 Lightning damage (or half of that on a failed Saving Throw). I found the Wrath of the Storm feature to help me the most in the game’s brutal battles, so I highly recommend it.

There are a whopping 21 Deities to choose from when creating a Cleric in Baldur’s Gate 3. This choice doesn’t affect anything related to gameplay or combat but will affect your relationship with certain NPCs and your available dialogue options in specific scenarios. This is purely a roleplaying decision, so try to choose the one that sounds the coolest to you. My personal favorite is the BG3 Tempus Cleric Deity.

While most of these Deities can be chosen without affecting your character that much, be wary of selecting Deities like Lolth, who are reviled throughout Faerun. Lolth, for example, wishes to turn every Drow into a mindless servant. In addition, Tiamat is described as a “roiling mass of avarice and hate that is currently trapped within the Nine Hells.”

Openly worshiping some of these Deities might make some NPCs think less of you. However, nobody’s really going to care if you serve Garl Glittergold on the other hand. If you want to deepen your relationship with everyone’s favorite Wizard, Gale, you should choose Mystra to unlock some unique dialogue options with him at camp. Meanwhile, if you want NPCs to associate you with war and battles, select the BG3 Tempus Cleric Deity.

Which Cleric Deity is Best in Baldur’s Gate 3?

As mentioned, choosing a Cleric Deity isn’t the most crucial decision in Baldur’s Gate 3, as they only change dialogue options. That said, it is recommended to pick one that can deepen a relationship with a party member or one that aligns well with the Clerics role.

For example, as stated in the last section, choosing Mystra, described as “Mother of all Magic,” will deepen your relationship with the Wizard Gale. Another great pick is Bahamut, described as the “Dragon God of Justice,” who is well regarded and looked at for their healing capabilities, which aligns well with the Cleric class.

Do Deities Matter in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Deities only matter if you care about the story of Baldur’s Gate 3. In other words, it depends on what you are trying to get out of the game. For example, deities don’t change how combat turns out or the game’s overall difficulty, but they do change the roleplaying nature of the game. You will get different dialogue options depending on the Deity you choose, so it’s smart to choose wisely if dialogue options are an important factor to you.

Considering Baldur’s Gate 3 is at its absolute best when role-playing and discovering the lore the game includes, I recommend you pick the Deity that sounds the coolest to you. You will find that BG3 can get incredibly in-depth regarding relationships with other characters, and each Deity can significantly impact how things pan out.

If you are unsure which one to choose, you can save before selecting the Deity and then load the game later if you get bored of your current pick. For example, I first selected the Bahamut Deity and didn’t like it, so I reloaded the save game and went with BG3 Tempest Deity instead, which was more my speed.

Which is the Best Race for a Cleric in Baldur’s Gate 3?

The best race to choose for the Cleric class in Baldur’s Gate 3 is the Duegar. The Duegar is the best for a couple of reasons: they get a boost in proficiency with bludgeoning weapons and gain an advantage against being paralyzed or charmed. These two status effects can turn the tide in combat, so having a Duegar cleric can help counter this.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has a lot of merchants for players to stumble across on their quest, and it’s easy to miss talking to many of them before finishing the game, which can cause players to miss out on some truly incredible gear for their builds.

Although there are many merchants in Act 1, most of them are relatively easy to come across. The most important merchants you’ll want to talk to, of course, in the first map are Dammon, who is directly tied to Karlach’s questline, and the Zhentarim merhcants you can help save from the Gnolls near the Risen Road which can offer players with some of the better early magic weapons, and an optional encounter with a spectator.

Act 3 has even more merchants than Act 1. There are way too many places to visit, and way too many things to buy. Boney sells scrolls, which are always useful for those playing a Wizard, and Danthelon’s Dancing Axe has good weapons and it’s fairly easy to find.

Carmen and Figaro have many clothing and dye options for players, Vicar Humbletoes and Nansi Gretta have scrolls, and Dammon will be back with weapons and armor. Make sure to visit Lorroakan’s Projection at Sorcerous Sundries since he has rare scrolls and good magic items.

Gale can be a bit hard to figure out. He’s a heroic and kind-hearted individual, but is also extremely driven by ambition and logic. There are way too many ways to make Gale like you during Act 1. The Wizard of Waterdeep will notice and approve of your behavior every time you save NPCs from danger, demonstrate heroism, show empathy, avoid unnecessary violence, and engage in intelligent conversations. Just make sure to entertain his curiosity, act like a hero, and take his concerns seriously.

Act 2 Romance Choices

One of the most effective ways to romance Gale is by completing his companion quest, “Wizard of Waterdeep”. However, there are other things that you can only do in Act 2 to make Gale like you more:

Romancing multiple companions in Baldur’s Gate 3 isn’t much different from building a monogamous relationship. Of course, you’ll need to ensure that you’ve gained enough favorability with all your potential partners that they’re open to entering a relationship with you. This can be done by choosing the correct dialogue options during your one-on-one interactions with them, and making roleplaying decisions during the main story that they approve of.

Something that’s important to note, however, when exploring poly in Baldur’s Gate 3 is that some characters aren’t interested in sharing you with your companions – in fact, there are only a handful of characters that are truly open and willing to “open up the relationship”.

All Polyamorous and Monogamous Companions in Baldur’s Gate 3

The two companions that will be vehemently against having a polyamorous relationship are Wyll Ravengard and Gale Dekarios. If you attempt to romance other companions while committed to them, they’ll confront you and force you to choose between them.

Additionally, while the rest of the companions are more open to being in a polyamorous relationship, they aren’t willing to be in one with some of the other companions, even if you try to convince them. Alternatively, there are some companions who are “open to sharing” in Act 1 and early into Act 2, but as your relationship develops, they’ll want exclusivity.

Here are a handful of examples of potential outcomes for players trying to experience a poly romance in Baldur’s Gate 3:

Shadowheart is open to being in a polyamorous relationship with you and someone else in Act 1 as long as it’s not Lae’zel. However, as your relationship with her deepens in Act 2, she’ll want to become exclusive.
Astarion is open to a relationship with you, Halsin, and Minthara. He is also available, albeit somewhat reluctantly, to be in a relationship with you and Shadowheart until she decides she wants a monogamous relationship in Act 2.
Karlach is open to being in a polyamorous relationship with you and someone else in Act 1 since she’s unable to be physical, but once her Infernal Engine is repaired by Dammon and the relationship deepens, she’ll request to be exclusive.
Halsin and Minthara are both open to being in a polyamorous relationship with you if they get along with the other partner.

How To End a Relationship In Baldur’s Gate 3

If you went down the Polygamy route and have maybe changed your mind on the whole ordeal — there is a way to end one, or both, of the relationships. Players can end a relationship with another character by selecting the correct dialogue options during regular conversations, or in the middle of romance cutscenes.

For the former, when you are speaking with the character(s) you are romancing, an option will appear that says something along the lines of, “Let’s talk about us.” Once you select this, you will have the option to end it for good.

It’s important to note that players have reported that this dialogue option doesn’t always appear, meaning it may only become available if you’ have been in the relationship for a certain amount of time’ve achieved certain milestones in the relationship. Keep an eye out for these dialogue choices during romance cutscenes and when speaking with your romance partner.

Blaidd the Half-Wolf is one of the coolest characters in Elden Ring, and players will have to choose to either free him or leave him trapped at one point during his questline. Blacksmith Iji, who is seemingly an ally to both you and Blaidd, has trapped Blaidd in the Forlorn Hound Evergaol. When you find Blaidd trapped in the Forlorn Hound Evergaol, you will have the option to open the Evergaol. If you do, Blaidd will appear and thank you for your help. He’ll tell you that he’s going to see Ranni and check if she’s still safe. He also says he doesn’t know why exactly Iji trapped him in the Evergaol, but there really aren’t any hard feelings about it. He’ll then head off to Ranni’s Rise, but you’ll have to go visit him again later.

What Happens If You Don’t Free Blaidd?

If you choose not to free Blaidd and leave him in the Evergaol, nothing will happen. You can continue your adventure, delve into Nokron, Eternal City, or go explore elsewhere. Blaidd will escape the Evergaol regardless, and his questline will continue regardless of your choice here. Your decision here does not matter. Nothing will change in the story, and Blaidd’s full questline will still be available to you no matter what. Most players don’t even come across Blaidd in the Evergaol anyway, instead opting to just explore Nokron and wonder why he’s not there. Before you can see Blaidd again, you must complete Ranni’s entire questline. There isn’t much left to it at this point, but you will need to seek out some rare items in Nokron and return to Ranni for your final few instructions. Should You Kill or Spare Ciro in the Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties DLC?

Just like the main campaign, the Bloody Ties DLC for Dying Light 2 has plenty of choices throughout its story. As soon as you start Bloody Ties, you’ll meet Ciro and partner up with him as you try to work your way to Carnage Hall.

Ciro is eager to climb the ranks and his family drama is the center of the DLC’s story, so it’s easy to get attached to your new partner. Things quickly go south early in the story though, and you have to either let Ciro beat you or kill him to climb the ranks yourself.

Should You Kill Ciro or Let Him Win?

This is the first important decision that you’ll make during the Bloody Ties DLC. After defeating Ciro, you’ll be given two options:

Let Ciro Win – Forfeit the Fight
Kill Ciro – Climb the Ranks

Aside from the obvious consequences of Ciro either living or dying, this choice also has minor ripple effects throughout the rest of the DLC.

What Happens If You Kill Ciro?

If you kill Ciro, then he’s removed from the Bloody Ties DLC permanently. He won’t show up in any later cutscenes because Aiden will kill him right then and there. Ciro doesn’t have a huge role throughout the second half of the DLC, however, so you won’t be missing much. It’s better to let Ciro live though, because the additions listed below will make your playthrough of Bloody Ties more enjoyable.

What Happens If You Let Ciro Win?

If you let Ciro win, he’ll continue to attack you. Just let him hit you a few times and another cutscene will play, giving you another choice to either kill Ciro and move to the final fight or spare Ciro and abandon the tournament. If you kill Ciro now, it’s the same as killing him earlier. If you spare Ciro, however, the Bloody Ties DLC will continue normally with Ciro still alive. You will not get a bad ending by choosing to abandon the tournament.

If you spare Ciro, he’ll help during the final boss fight of Bloody Ties. That’s the only real benefit you’ll get from keeping Ciro alive, although it’s a pretty big bonus since he shaves off a significant chunk of the final encounter if he’s present. He’ll also remain a major character throughout the DLC’s story since he’s still alive, and having more characters is always a good thing.

The game gives you very little information on the purpose of its island, with destroyed structures, a sealed door, and a single save point. While it may seem like there’s nothing of interest here, ??? Island actually holds a huge endgame secret.

What is on ??? Island in Octopath Traveler 2?

The ‘??? Island’ found in the East Sundering Sea in Octopath Traveler is part of unlocking a secret optional battle with a major Superboss in what is undoubtedly the most brutal fight in the series.

The Mysterious Superboss on ??? Island

The most challenging boss in Octopath Traveler 2 is the Superboos ‘Galdera‘, who awaits the player on ‘??? Island‘ after completing Al‘s questlines. This fight is somehow even more difficult than in the original Octopath Traveler, though thankfully, you don’t have to fight eight bosses beforehand.

How To Unlock the Fight Against Galdera

Step 1: The Traveler’s Bag

After you’ve handed each tome in and completed both the Procuring Peculiar Tomes and The Traveler’s Bag quests, you can start From the Far Reaches of Hell.

Approach Al in the Library, who you’ll find struggling to translate your newly acquired novel. Seek out Georges Lazuli on the Nameless Isle found north of Toto’haha. Defeat the boss Gigantes and you’ll be able to acquire How to Decipher Unknown Languages from George.

Take the tome back to Al to complete this quest and unlock the sealed door on ??? Island.

Step 4: Travel to ??? Island

Travel to ‘???‘ in The Sundering Sea and you should notice that the large door is now open. Enter the door to find an injured Al and a long staircase. If you think you’re ready, ascend the stairs and receive the warning: “The sense of danger is overwhelming. Are you certain you wish to proceed?”

Select ‘Yes,’ divide your party, and begin the battle against Galdera — the true final boss of Octopath Traveler 2.

To say that Elden Ring’s open world is big is an understatement. The map is so huge it can’t even fit on the entire screen. It’s easy to get lost between the Catacombs, field bosses, and anything else in the Lands Between. FromSoftware basically said, “here’s the game – now you figure out the way.” That’s a good thing, of course, but some players are having trouble figuring out some things about the map. More specifically, many new players have been wondering what the gold and yellow lines are on the map near the Sites of Grace.

What Do the Gold Lines Mean Near a Site of Grace?

The gold lines on the map in Elden Ring point toward your next objective. They’re called the Guidance of Grace in the lore, and they guide the Tarnished on their journey. If you ever find yourself stuck, just follow those lines and you’ll be back on track in no time. It’s not just limited to the map, either. When you rest at a Site of Grace, some of them will emanate a sort of golden trail of dust through the sky. Not all of them do that, only those that indicate a certain landmark in the game that leads into a possible quest or dungeon ahead will have them. The game doesn’t hold your hand too much in outright giving you some sort of quest log or something in the UI to show you your next destination. The tradeoff here is that there’s a sense of exploration you should fulfill for tidbits of lore, new wares to collect, and bosses to conquer. These gold lines serve as a bare minimum of leading you in the direction you should go. The choice is yours. You’re not locked out from progressing any further if you don’t follow the lines either. Admittedly, it can get confusing if you’re traveling east towards Caelid and start seeing the Sites of Grace show the lines too. The correct way to through the main story of the game is to make your way north from Limgrave, through Stormveil, then the Raya Lucaria Academy, and so forth. Even when you complete an entire area, those lines will still appear. The only way to really keep track is to use the map’s marker options to indicate if you have cleared an entire area of its boss and one-time pickups. Elden Ring is out now for the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series S/X, and PC.

She will appear after defeating Mad Pumpkin Head, and is located near the Site of Grace titled “Waypoint Ruins Cellar“. As she sends you on her questline, you’ll fight enemies and fetch items for her, and once you complete this quest, she will open her Sorceries Shop, allowing you to spend Runes to unlock new types of Magic. For players working on a Magic-based Build, her shop can aid you to get some powerful spells quite early in the game, especially if you’ve tracked down the Scrolls that are required to get some of the better spells, like the Conspectus Scroll to unlock Glintstone Cometshard. If you take the time to help her out, you’ll find yourself rewarded quite well. However, if you are going for a Melee Build, her unlocks may come to little use for you, unless you are aiming to 100% your run. Her questline does send you to some interesting locations, so it may be worth your time for the chance to explore some new parts of the world, ultimately culminating in you choose if you wish to challenge Sellen to a battle, or assist her in fighting the Witch-Hunter Jerren in the Grand Library. Choosing to assist Sellen and defeating Jerren will also reward the player with the following items:

Defeating a main boss in Elden Ring will get you a new Great Rune to use in the game. These runes bestow great power on your character, but for each rune you collect you will need to climb different towers to activate the rune itself. Once you’ve beaten the first main boss of the game, Godrick the Grafted, you will need to take his Great Rune to the Divine Tower of Limgrave in order to use it. In this guide we’ll explain how to get to this area in the game.

How To Open the Divine Tower in Limgrave and Activate Godrick’s Rune

The route to the Divine Tower of Limgrave in actually within Stormveil Castle where you origianlly defeated Godrick. To get to the Tower, you’ll need to take a portal from the castle to the tower bridge. For the purpose of this guide we’re going to explain how to get back to this area by backtracking from the Godrick boss fight. You’ll need to head back to the areas that you just fought though to make it to the castle gates. Hopefully you unlocked the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace while making your way to Godrick in the first place. This one was near the ogre and open area with many soldiers. Backtrack past the ogre in the courtyard area and instead of heading due south which would’ve been the way you approached this area the first time, instead, go left (east) and head down the stairs toward the main courtyard and Stormveil Castle Gate. At the bottom of the stairs you’ll come to another open area with a ton of guards as well as a Vanguard Lion. At the bottom of those stairs hook a left and head through the main door past the lion.

How to Open the Divine Tower of Limgrave Path

The easiest way to do this is to try and run past these enemies but it’s also a good opportunity to collect runes so choose to approach it how you wish. Once you get to the room with the knight statues kneeling you should be safe if noone is on your tail. Keep heading straight and you will be at the Limgrave Tower Bridge. Rest at the Site of Grace and then head onward to the tower. You’re not quite out of the clear yet, the long stretch is a straight run to a teleporter that will actually take you to the tower. You’ll need to make your way past three giants: two wielding axes, and one with a bow and arrow. The easiest way to get past them is to run straight ahead until you see the teleporter and then use it to go to the Tower. If you choose to fight, the ranged giant (closest to the teleporter) is going to be able to hit you while you’re fighting the first and second giants – so be prepared for a tough encounter. If you chose not to fight, and you took the teleporter you are in the clear and you are now at the Divine Tower of Limgrave. You are in the clear for the time being. Head up the lift and activate Godrick’s Rune.

In order to use a bow or crossbow in Elden Ring you’ll need to have one equipped, obviously. This can be in your left or right hand as your primary or secondary item. If you are using a bow you will not be able to use any of your secondary weapons like shields in-between your attacks, however, with the crossbow, shields are a bit easier to use. While it may be obvious to some players, for either of these items you need to also have bolts, arrows, or great arrows equipped so that you have something to shoot. Assuming that you’ve got all this down: You can shoot the bow, great bow, or crossbow just like you’re using any other weapon. You can either manually aim a shot or you can lock on to the target and the shot will track the target automatically.

To properly aim using base PC controls: Press and hold E and right click to two hand, then hold right click to aim. Blizzard seems set on releasing a steady roster of new heroes to help keep the game fresh. It’s hard to complain; Overwatch isn’t the competitive, acclaimed FPS that it used to be. Now, most of its playerbase is looking for ways to invent fun team comps and having a good time with their friends.

Don’t get me wrong, the game needs balance, and the characters should be fun without being broken. But, it’s gonna be a while before Overwatch 2 gets back to where the franchise once stood, if it ever gets as popular as the original. It’s hard to tell if the devs can keep the characters diverse in terms of mechanics, but they’ sure’ve hit the mark with recent support heroes like Illari and Lifeweaver that challenge the game’s norms and elevate the FPS title’s skill ceiling.

What Order Do You Unlock Overwatch Characters?

You can unlock characters, including some of the new heroes released after Overwatch 2, in a specific order that’ is’s not tied to the hero release order of the first game. The characters will be unlocked as you’re playing the game. The more you play, the more heroes you unlock. However, some Overwatch 2 characters can only be unlocked by completing a special challenge or buying them from the shop.

I find this an effective strategy to keep players invested in the game. The process of unlocking each character doesn’t take long, providing players with constant goals. By the time all characters are unlocked, players are likely to have developed a liking for the game and continue playing. This approach helps Blizzard expand the game’s player base, even if it’s temporary, thereby enhancing the experience for dedicated players.

Seluvis has a secret basement, but its exact location is not entirely clear to all Elden Ring players thanks to the game’s propensity for vague, cryptic dialogue and hints. This guide will show you where to find Seluvis’s Secret Puppet Room in Elden Ring and everything you need to know about this NPC.

Seluvis’s secret room can be found beneath some illusory flooring in between Renna and Ranni’s Rise in the Three Sisters section of Caria Manor. Attacking the pavement in question will open up access to players, letting them travel downward into the basement.

Players will know they are at the correct location of Seluvis’s secret room if they’ve spotted aristocrats wielding staffs nearby. They are not exactly difficult enemies, and appearing in an area that is mostly void of enemies serves more as a tell as opposed to being obstacles in the player’s way. I found it easy to defeat these enemies with a few swings of my sword.

Make sure to avoid the giant dragon in the area unless you feel confident enough to take it down. I made the mistake of getting too close and having to start over from the last Site of Grace after dying.

After venturing into Seluvis’s secret room, players should immediately be able to ascertain why exactly it is that Seluvis has entrusted them with the duties of delivering potions to other individuals and the potential consequence of such deeds. Littered about the grounds of Seluvis’s basement are motionless husks of test subjects Seluvis has conducted experimented upon. This matter is only made more apparent by the illusionary wall at the end of Seluvis’s secret room, depicting the outcome of the player’s decision regarding their potion delivery quest.

Questioning Seluvis

Now that players are made aware of the goings-on beneath the ground of the Three Sisters, they’re free to use that knowledge as leverage. Head into Seluvis’s Rise and converse with Seluvis; a new dialogue option should have opened up that would allow players to inquire why Seluvis’s secret room even exists. Seluvis, upon hearing such inquiries, will scold the player for their breach of personal privacy but will acquiesce to the player’s demands for a puppet if asked.

Seluvis will give players the option to pick from his collection freely. The choices available include Finger Maiden Therolina Puppet, Jarwight Puppet, and Dolores the Sleeping Arrow Puppet. I recommend picking Jarwight Puppet, which I found to be the strongest out of the options.

Players don’t have to contemplate their choices too much if they’ve collected starlight shards during their exploration of the Lands Between, since the remaining puppets will be made available to the player later down the line, with starlight shards being the trading currency.

Can You Miss The Seluvis Storyline?

It is important to note that this opportunity to confront Seluvis about his puppet room will become void after substantial progression is made through Ranni’s storyline. If the player’s already acquired the secret treasure of Nokron as Ranni desired, Seluvis will be found dead at his tower, with his corpse lootable for the Preceptor Set and his Bell Bearing containing the sorceries you’ve yet to purchase. After the fact, his corpse can still be interacted with as a way for players to obtain puppets, again, using starlight shards. Players should also check up on Pidia, as there’s some event that’s also occurred on his end.

Elden Ring: Where to Use Primal Glintstone

Elden Ring is full of little side quests that further unravel a detailed story that plays some part in the grand scheme of things. The errand with the Primal Glintstone is no different. Here is everything we know about the Primal Glintstone in Elden Ring and how to use it. The starting place to use the Primal Glintstone in Elden Ring is at the Three Sisters, which is west of Caria Manor in Liurnia of the Lakes. More specifically, you’ll need to start this at Ranni’s Rise. This area is only accessible if you have defeated Royal Knight Loretta. You will also need to have defeated Starscourge Radahn to access this quest. It may help you to also find Seluvis’s Secret Puppet Room while you are in this region. Once you are there, here are the steps you need to follow in order to use the Primal Glintstone in Elden Ring.

How To Use the Primal Glintstone

Starting at the Site of Grace, head left down the stairs and out of the tower. Once you are outside, head northeast towards the stone arches. In between the stone arches, perform a ground attack to reveal secret stairs that lead down. Head down and reach the main room with blue crystals and a few bodies. At the back of the room, attack the back wall that has branches on it to reveal another hidden room. Press “Transplant Primal Glintstone” and talk with the woman. The next location of this wild goose chase is the Witchbane Ruins, which is south at the Weeping Peninsula south of the Fourth Church of Marika. This is where Sellen’s original body was. You’ll need to make your way to the bottom where you’ll talk to the person you spoke with before the Festival before defeating Starscourge Radahn. Apparently, Sellen was the most powerful and dangerous sorcerer ever and you just used the Primal Glintstone to give her a new body. And that is the end of the Primal Glintstone quest. Though there doesn’t seem to be any physical rewards from this quest as of writing this, more evidence may come out as time passes. Plus, it is unclear what either helping Sellen with the Primal Glintstone or going against her has to do with anything. In the meantime, be sure to check out our Elden Ring guides. One such mystery is an item that has puzzled many players is the ‘Fake Portrait of a Noble Before His Death.’ This item can be obtained from Oskar Fevras in the sewers, but is it actually used for anything in-game?

How to Use the Fake Portrait of a Noble Before His Death in BG3

Although the ‘Fake Portrait of a Noble Before His Death’ seems to be a key item in a quest line involving Oskar Fevras, it’s just a miscellaneous item. It appears Oskar may be selling counterfeit versions of costly paintings in Act 3 to earn some money. If you want, you can buy this and other paintings from him and drop them in your camp to decorate it; while simultaneously implying that his life could have taken a different turn if someone had rescued him from the Zhentarim hideout in Act 1.

The ‘Free the Artist’ Quest Line

The portrait is related to Lady Jannath’s estate, located south of the House of Grief and north of the Steel Watch Foundry. If you explore the estate, you’ll discover that Lady Jannath and Oskar share a romantic relationship, and she has been searching for him. Calling back to Act 1, if you exhaust Oskar’s voicelines in the Zhent’s hideout after deciding you do want to help him, you’ll learn he was set to marry before needing to ‘think things through’ and getting captured by the Zhents.

To properly finish complete his questline, you will need to help him out during Act 1. Here’s how to reunite Oskar and Lady Jannath:

Free Oskar from the Zhentarim hideout in Act 1 by persuading Brem, the trader in the hideout to set him free or by buying his freedom.
Look for Oskar in Baldur’s Gate during Act 3 at Lady Jannath’s Estate to the west of the Lower City, north of the Steel Watch Foundry. There is a Dragonborn standing guard at the front door that will give advise the player not to enter, but ultimately won’t do anything if you do.
Toggle ‘Non-Lethal Attacks’ to being active on the ‘Passives tab’.
Knock out Oskar, who is threatening Lady Jannath in her room.
Loot Oskar and get the key from him after he’s knocked out and talk with Lady Jannath to find out about all the strange paranormal activity effecting their home.
Reach the Atelier at the top of the manor. Note: You may need to find creative methods of getting to the top without constantly being knocked down by the cursed skulls throughout the house.
Take the Painting of a Smiling Maiden in the Atelier and place on the Painting Stand.
Go behind the secret door that opened and read the letter.
Read the letter inside the locked chest.
Get the Torch of Revocation from Mystic Carrion in Philgrave’s Mansion, located south of Sorcerous Sundries and Felogyr’s Fireworks in the abandoned house.
Use the Torch of Revocation to destroy the Painting of a Smiling Maiden in the Atelier.
Return to Oskar and Lady Jannath’s bedroom and speak with them to trigger the quest’s finale.

Moving forward, the optimal way to conclude this quest is by attempting to persuade Kerri that her behavior is out of character. Go for persuasion checks whenever you can. That said, this is a moment for you to roleplay how your character would respond to the following conversation moreso than just deciding what the “right” choice would be.

If you let Oskar stick around in the land of the living after the fact, he will offer to take you back into the Atelier to paint a portrait of the hero that saved him and his troubled marriage.

Elden Ring: Where is Blaidd in Nokron?

As you work to complete Ranni the Witch’s massive sidequest in Elden Ring, you will find yourself working alongside the half-wolf warrior Blaidd. After the two of you take down Starscoruge Radahn at Redmane Castle, a falling meteorite will reveal the path to Nokron, the Eternal City.

Before he departs, Blaidd asks you to meet him “where the falling star bit the Earth”. However, Blaidd will not be in the Eternal City when you go to look for him. Here’s how to find Blaidd in Nokron in Elden Ring.

Where Is Blaidd In Nokron?

Elden Ring is a game where even basic instructions from NPCs can be cryptic or misleading. Unlike the previous moments when Blaidd would ask for you to meet him somewhere, like the Siofra River beneath Limgrave and Caelid, Blaidd will not be in Nokron when you go to look for him after defeating Radahn. However, there is an excellent reason why Blaidd is not able to meet you at the Eternal City, as he has found himself in a somewhat awkward situation.

Return to the Forlorn Hound Evergaol in Limgrave where you should have fought the Bloodhound Knight Darriwil alongside Blaidd earlier in the story. As you approach, you’ll hear the signature wolf howl that signals Blaidd is nearby, followed by the wolfman telling the Tarnished that he’s been trapped by Iji. Note: You can only progress Blaidd’s questline if you agree to help him break free. Once you’ve freed him by interacting with the Evergoal, a grateful Blaidd will depart to discover why Iji has seemingly betrayed Ranni’s cause, promising to meet you in Nokron afterward.

Unfortunately, Blaidd never makes it to Nokron. If you confront Blacksmith Iji yourself at the Road to the Manor Site of Grace in Liurnia, he will reveal that he imprisoned Blaidd to keep him from going feral, which he is fated to do. At this point, you must complete the rest of Ranni’s quest before interacting with Blaidd again.

Once you have finished Ranni’s questline, you can find Blaidd one last time at Ranni’s Rise, surrounded by the corpses of Black Knife assassins sent to kill Ranni and consumed by an animalistic fury. Lost in his madness, Blaidd will mistake you as a threat to Ranni and attack you, leaving you with no choice but to put him out of his misery.

Elden Ring: They Didn’t Seem Right or They Were Magnificent Choice Guide

In Elden Ring, players face choices that impact questlines and endings. White-Faced Varré presents a choice about the Two Fingers being “magnificent” or not. While the decision may seem daunting, its consequences are not severe. Should you choose “They didn’t seem right” or “They were magnificent?” in Elden Ring?

“They didn’t seem right” or “They were magnificent”?

To obtain this quest for Varré in the first place, players must defeat one of the demigods and meet the Two Fingers at Roundtable Hold. When first meeting Varré at the start of the game, he’ll recommend that the player defeats Godrick the Grafted first, which can prove to be a quick and easy way to achieve this task.

The next time you meet Varré will be at Rose Church in Liurna of the Lakes, where he’ll ask you what you think of – as he describes – the supposed “masters of the grace”. To continue his questline, players must choose “They didn’t seem right” to gain new dialogue from Varré.

However, this choice doesn’t matter very much. Saying “They were magnificent” simply has Varré feign agreement with you, and you can speak with him again to receive the prompt a second time. Following each of Varré’s prompts will simply let you continue with his quest; there is nothing major that you’ll miss if you join his side, despite how consequential his words are made out to be.

This is a trait that, surprisingly, is shared with numerous other important NPCs. This includes Ranni the Witch and the loathsome Dung Eater. There are still certain questlines that the player can miss out on in certain contexts, but there’s no need to worry about this choice Varré gives you.

Varré’s Quest Progression and Rewards

To advance Varré’s questline, players must meet him again at Rose Church in Liurna of the Lakes. Here, Varré will ask about the Two Fingers. Regardless of the choice made, players can continue the quest by re-engaging with Varré. The quest involves invading other players’ worlds using the Festering Bloody Finger and soaking the Lord of Blood’s Favor at the Church of Inhibition.

Completing these tasks rewards players with the Pureblood Knight’s Medal, which grants access to Mohgwyn Palace. This area is significant for progression and farming valuable resources.

If you try to return to the shack you found her at and give her the item, you will notice that she is missing. This is because she has taken up residence in the Roundtable Hold and should be your first clue that there is more to this NPC than meets the eye.

After you give her the item, you may notice a new option appears when talking to the Blacksmith to talk about Roderkia. Asking him about it will make him tell you that she has great power from his perspective.

He says she has the ability to become a Spirit-Tuner, something that has not been talked about by any other NPC at this point. From here you have two options, You can either tell Roderika about what the Blacksmith said and have her start down the path to become a Spirit-Tuner, or let her keep standing around the Roundtable hold doing nothing.

Obviously, as mentioned before, you will want to tell her about what the Blacksmith said and get her started down the Spirit-Tuner path. There is no real downside to telling her about this, it is the only way to upgrade your Spirit Ashes and it begins a quest later in the game concerning the Blacksmith.

A lot of things in Elden Ring can seem really confusing about what you should do. But when it comes to this choice, there really is no choice. You should always tell Roderika about what the Blacksmith says.

After spending some time understanding the battle system of The Land Beneath Us, I’ve managed to develop an overkill build to become an undying soul collector. If you’re looking for a build that will make you overpowered, here’s the best Overkill build in The Land Beneath Us.

The Best Build in The Land Beneath Us

All the following weapons work with the best Overkill build in The Land Beneath Us, but I recommend you to try your best to get at least one with a healing property.

Weapons

The core idea of this build is to use at least one weapon that heals you when you trigger Overkill and to utilize only weapons with the Overkill property. A weapon’s Overkill is triggered every time you defeat an enemy with that weapon. However, the most crucial part of the build is the relics that make Overkill truly overpowered.

Dish: Activates the Overkill effect twice.
Fork: Adds 1 Shield to Sven every time Overkill is triggered.

The rest is flexible, but I recommend Guard Up since it always adds a shield when starting a room and can heal you when you take damage if enhanced. Shield is a cumulative resource that can stack up to 10. When you have Shield and are hit by an attack, you lose 1 Shield instead of taking damage.

How to Use Creative Codes in Fortnite

To use creative codes in Fortnite, you must start a creative server. You can do this almost immediately after you launch Fortnite Creative Mode by pressing the yellow “Launch” button that pops up. After you’ve logged into your new server, you must track down a Rift.
