While many fans of the game and other moviegoers have had strong reactions to the film’s trailer, we’ve encountered some truly hilarious reactions to the April 2025 film that perfectly encapsulate how fans are feeling about A Minecraft Movie.

TommyInnit Reminds Fans Of the Original Live-Action Sonic Design

Popular Minecraft content creator TommyInnit uploaded a tweet commenting on how Warner Bros. chose to animate the Minecraft sheep, putting together a side-by-side with the original design of Sonic from the Sonic the Hedgehog movie. While Sonic was eventually changed to better capture how he looks in the games, the Minecraft sheep might not be so lucky.

Minecraft Fans Revisiting ‘Minecraft Story Mode’

Minecraft: Story Mode, a spin-off Minecraft game handled by Telltale Games was met with some apprehension and disappointment by fans went it originally released, but due to some negative feelings toward the upcoming Minecraft movie, some fans have been making jokes about revisiting the game and giving it a second chance.

Fans Poking Fun at “Hyper-Realistic” Minecraft Mods

https://twitter.com/RavioliCraft/status/1831333517898432642

Modding is a massive part of what has made Minecraft so timeless, and the “hyper-realistic” mods are some of the most joked about due to how they try and take Minecraft‘s iconic, simplistic style and flip it into something that attempting to be on-par with other modern games. RavioliCraft’s post pokes fun at the 3DCG adaptations of the many animals and monsters present in the Minecraft movie trailer, comparing it to something akin to these types of mods.

In a similar tweet made in reply to the official trailer, Essential Mod, a modding service that caters to Minecraft specifically, made a joke for fans of the game using a still from the film’s trailer showing off the vast world that the characters are thrown into.

Fans Are Already Making Jokes About the Infamous “Herobrine”

Originating from a popular internet urban legend and creepypasta, Herobrine has been an infamous figure among Minecraft fans for well over a decade. With white eyes that lack pupils and allegedly stalking players throughout their world, the figure was the stuff of nightmares for a lot of kids getting into the game during the early 2010s. This meme, of course, is poking fun at Jack Black’s portrayal of Steve, turning him into the infamous figure.

The ‘Minecraft’ Movie Dropped Its First Trailer – And It’s a Lot To Handle https://attackofthefanboy.com/entertainment/the-minecraft-movie-dropped-its-first-trailer-and-its-a-lot-to-handle/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/entertainment/the-minecraft-movie-dropped-its-first-trailer-and-its-a-lot-to-handle/#respond Wed, 04 Sep 2024 15:05:23 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=991122 From the moment the Minecraft movie was officially announced, audiences were stumped by what exactly that could mean, especially once word got out that the film wouldn’t be a fully animated feature.

Well, to many fan’s delight (and unintended terror) Warner Bros. finally dropped the first official trailer for the film, an reception has been a hilarious mixed bag.

Officially titled A Minecraft Movie, the trailer boasts a cast of characters – including Jason Mamoa with bangs and a hot pink jacket as well as Jack Black as the ever iconic Steve – placed in a world inhabited by creatures from the original Minecraft game, blocky artstyle kept loosely in tact, but with the 3DCGI animation leaving the creatures looking just a bit unsettling.

The trailer has us feeling gobsmacked. After the success of the Super Mario Bros. Movie and Sonic the Hedgehog films almost perfectly translating the charm of the original games to life, our first impressions of the Minecraft trailer aren’t nearly as favorable. The fully live-action characters placed in a fully animated world feels mismatched, with none of the film’s aesthetics presented in the initial trailer giving any fan of the original game what they want other than some great reactionary memes.

While the film isn’t officially release until April 2025, we as fans can only hope that some time can be put in to iron out some very glaring “bumps in the road” that are present in the trailer.

Best Minecraft Shaders for Low-End PCs https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-minecraft-shaders-for-low-end-pcs/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-minecraft-shaders-for-low-end-pcs/#respond Sat, 27 Jan 2024 18:06:40 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=839720 If you’re looking to bring Minecraft to life like never before, but have a lower-spec PC, look no further. We are going to go through the Top Shaders to help make your Minecraft experience feel better than it’s ever felt before.

You’ll be able to run these shaders on just about any type of PC, so you don’t need to worry if you don’t have the highest-end graphics card or CPU in your rig. Unlike shaders players use to make the game look better, these lightweight shaders will ensure your game looks and runs better than ever. They will give you a chance to experience one of the greatest games of all time in a new light. Let’s get right in, and find out the best Minecraft shaders you can use on a low-spec PC!

Waving Plants for Minecraft

Waving-Plants-Shader-Minecraft

While this may sound simple, the purpose of this shader is to bring a bit of life into your world. You won’t see a massive visual upgrade in the way the world looks, but you’ll be able to see the vegetation around you moving with the wind, which helps breathe a bit of life into an otherwise sterile world. Great for making your world come to life just a little bit more than normal.

Sildurs Enhanced Vanilla Shaders

Sildurs-Enhanced-Vanilla-Shaders-1.17-Minecraft

You’ll keep the charm of the original Minecraft look that players have grown to love, but you’ll see an increase in the quality of the water around you, shadows will spread much more realistically, and will even allow you to play around with different texture packs to tweak this to look to your exact specifications. A great mod if you’re looking to improve the world around you without sacrificing performance quality.

Tea Shaders For Minecraft

Tea-Shader-Minecraft

If you’re looking to see an increase in the water quality, lighting quality, and some other tweaks without ruining the performance of your PC, you’ll want to look into the Tea Shader set that is available. You’ll see the water ripple, offer more transparency, as well as enhanced lighting that brings the world of Minecraft to life more than ever before—a great shader for both low-end and high-end PCs alike.

YoFPS Shader

YoFPS-Shader-1.18.2-Minecraft

If you’re looking to enhance the lighting in your world, this will be one of the best ways to do so without sacrificing your performance. It functions almost like ray tracing, but without the massive hit to performance. You’ll be able to see all of the different ways the world will look around you using this texture pack, and find yourself looking towards the sunsets with its God Ray effects, light that shines through the trees, and more!

Builders QOL Shaders

Builders-QOL-Shaders-1.18.2-Minecraft

If you’re looking to be the master of the skies and the sea, this is the Shader for you. You’ll be able to give the sky a custom look with more realistic clouds, as well as water that can be adjusted to your exact specifications. You won’t see a performance hit, allowing this shader to rise through the ranks and make your game look better than ever. The water effects are on par with some big-name titles, making this shine brighter than most.

SORA Shaders

SORA-Shaders-Minecraft

While this screen may look like it was captured on a high-end PC, you’ll be able to tweak your game and make it look like this, no matter what your PC’s specs are. Offering some intense lighting effects that will make your world pop, you’ll be able to tweak and customize everything in this shader pack to make the world look amazing, no matter what you’re playing on. Great water reflections help seal the deal on this one.

Chocapic13 High Performance Shaders

Chocapic13-High-Performance-Shaders-1.18.2-Minecraft

With new water textures, enhanced lighting effects, and excellent draw distance, you’ll find that this shader pack can help breathe new life into the world that you’re playing in while ensuring your PC doesn’t drop frames. This shader pack is excellently optimized, allowing you to play it on just about every PC on the market, no matter what you have. You’ll be able to tweak every aspect if there is something causing issues, as well.

MakeUp – Ultra Fast Shaders

MakeUp-–-Ultra-Fast-Shaders-1.18.2-Minecraft-1

The lighting effects and water in this shader can help your world pop, and with the extra bloom that can be found alongside, you’ll be in for a fresh and inviting world. You’ll be able to customize every part of this, from Very Low to Very High, so you can ensure it will run on your PC regardless of whether it’s showing its age or fresh out of the box this year. If you decide to upgrade in the future, you can keep this running and go with enhancements built into this shader pack to make things look even better than ever.

KUDA Shaders – No Lag!

KUDA-Shaders-1.17.1→1.18-No-Lag-Minecraft

The KUDA shader set has been around just about as long as Minecraft has, so it’s no surprise to see that they’ve been able to make the shader pack work well with low-end devices, as well as blazing-fast PCs. You’ll be able to tweak everything in this shader pack to make sure your PC still runs the game smoothly, and you may see an improvement over your current vanilla shader due to how well this is optimized. It’s not my favorite Minecraft shader for a low-end pc, but it works well enough.

Iris Shaders

Iris-Shaders-Minecraft

Optimized with the idea of running on low-end devices, you’ll be able to see an immediate difference when you start using Iris Shaders. You’ll see an increased lighting volume, higher quality shadows, and a shader that can evolve with your needs. You’ll be able to run this on just about any PC, and if you decide to upgrade in the future, you can make this look better than ever with its plethora of options.

Chocapic v8 Shaders

Chocapic-v8-Shaders-1.18-Minecraft
Image: Minecr4ftHub / Mojang

If you’re looking to push your PC to the limit to see how good you can make Minecraft look, this is your answer. With the insane amount of customization within, you can make the world look exactly as you would like. And, with different options, you’ll be able to ensure your PC can handle what this shader brings to the table. While it may make your world look the best it ever has, running this shader on Medium should let just about any PC handle the new look.

Stracciatella Shaders

Stracciatella-Shaders-Minecraft
Image: DrDesten / Mojang

Feel the breeze with Stracciatella Shaders — this lightweight shader pack causes water to ebb and flow like waves and trees and foliage to sway in the wind, providing an incredibly calming effect. Another excellent touch is colored light being emitted from light sources, such as Soul Torches radiating a cool blue glow. Make sure to keep your eyes on the skies to watch for shooting stars and admire realistic views of the sun, moon, and stars.

Exposa Shaders

Exposa-Shaders-Minecraft
Image: negorolxvv / Mojang

Exposa Shaders is so breathtaking that it’s difficult to believe it can run so well on lower-end systems. This is why I can’t recommend this shader enough. It’s by far one of my favorite Minecraft shaders, not just for low-spec PCs, but in general. Aiming for a “natural and fantasy style,” Exposa adds gorgeous reflections, enhanced shadows, puddles, realistic clouds, and even HDR display options.

Potato Shader

Potato-Shader-Minecraft
Image: RRe36 / Mojang

For those of you playing Minecraft on a true potato PC, this appropriately named shader is for you. If a Potato can run the game, then your computer can run it too. Jokes aside, this one of the best Minecraft shaders if your PC is a potato. Potato Shader subtly enhances your graphics with custom water effects, dynamic colors, ambient occlusion, and other effects that practically any computer can run.

Vaporwave Shaderpack

Vaporwave-Shader-Minecraft
Image: XorDev / Mojang

Add that classic 80s neon flair to Minecraft by downloading Vaporwave Shaderpack. This bizarre shader makes your entire game wavy, with glowing grid lines spanning the entire world. While not particularly practical, this shader pack can provide a fun and unique experience for those who can’t run more extravagant and outlandish shaders smoothly.

Bliss

Bliss-Shader-Minecraft
Image: Xonk___ / Patrix 128x / Mojang

The focus of Bliss is variety and contrast. This shader pack features a dynamic sky that drastically alters every cycle and “biome-specific environments,” making each biome distinct from the others. Plenty of settings are available for various aspects of the pack to tailor it to your PC’s performance. No wonder this is one of the best Minecraft shaders for a low-end PC that you can find out there.

Is 8GB RAM Enough For Minecraft Shaders?

A high-quality GPU is probably enough to operate Shaders with just 8GB of RAM. However, if your GPU is outdated or integrated, 8GB of RAM may not be sufficient. The shaders mentioned earlier are designed specifically for lower-end PCs, so they should work fine. However, if you’re looking to enhance your game’s visuals with a superior shader, you might require additional RAM.

Which Shader Is the Least Laggy?

The least laggy Minecraft Shaders are the KUDA Shaders – No Lag! and the Potato Shader. One is specially made to avoid lag and the other runs on pretty much any pc. With either of those, your game will certainly be less laggy and more responsive.

And there we have it, the best shaders that you can run on your lower-spec rig! These tend to be the best ones for letting your creativity shine in Minecraft, especially after the 1.20 update.

Below, you’ll find the 5 top creative seeds for the Minecraft 1.20 Trails & Tales update. With everything from natural settings to diverse biomes and vast plains, there’s so much to explore.

The 5 Best Creative Seeds for Minecraft 1.20 Trails & Tales

Coastal Forest: -3180883118112984783

Coastal-Forest
Image: Attack of the Fanboy

This seed will create a forested hill and a bunch of forested mounts near the ocean. The tallest hill has a crater-like region that you can use as the base for a mega structure or a city. It also has caves, lakes, waterfalls, and lava. It’s a great seed to make something truly unique.

If you are trying to build a themed winter or holiday city, this seed will get the job done. It has green fields and frozen forests. It has lakes, frozen lakes, snowy mountains, green mountains, structures, caves, and more. It’s great for exploration, too.

Creative Cornucopia: 100073911330129

This seed provides a unique building experience with three different biomes meeting in a very abrupt way. It’s adaptable to any building style, whether you’re planning to construct a sprawling city or a cozy cottage. It provides enough diversity for you to make many things while being structured and stable enough to be a good canvas.

Multibiome Plane: 88851231548

Multibiome-Plane
Image: Attack of the Fanboy

By far one of my favorite 1.20 seeds for chilling and building due to its great variety of biomes. You start at the badlands, but there’s a jungle, a desert area, and a lake surrounded by a forest. The more you look around, the more there is to find. That said, the plane fields do help players who want to build cities.

Underground Caves: -6778146788154565663

Underground-Lava
Image: Attack of the Fanboy

This seed provides a large body of water with high mountains and a plane forest around it. It’s good enough for builders that way, especially if you intend to make a village or castle surrounded by water. However, the most interesting characteristic of this seed is the well-lit underground caves that can be used to create an underground city or mine if you’re feeling like a dwarf.

The 5 Trails and Tales Seeds for Minecraft Bedrock 1.20 on Xbox

The Blossom Lake: -7546871041441139804

Blossom-Lake

This seed should spawn a great lake near a cherry grove. The Sakura trees are the most beautiful aspect of the 1.20 update of Minecraft, and they can create some deceptively calming environments. However, this is a game about survival and adventure. Stay alert and find out what the grove is hiding.

The Lake House: 2541367698408091918

River-Mansion

With this seed, you should be able to find a mansion in the middle of the frozen river. This mansion is the main purpose of using this seed as exploring it fun and challenging! In this map, you’ll also find villagers, zombies, items, and a lot more.

The mountains near a cherry grove also have a village next to them. This is an amazing seed with many biomes with lots to explore. Every time you think you’ve seen everything, there’s something else there to surprise you.

Picturesque Paradise: -1237183892916451978

Le-Desert

This map provides an unusual combination of a bamboo forest, a jungle, and a desert. There’s a huge mountain with flying structures and chasms near the woods that lead to hidden waterfalls, secret caves, and more. The desert has many structures for you to explore as well. If you go underwater, there are even more things to find. This is a very packed map that will keep you busy for many hours.

When you use this seed, you spawn in the badlands. This broad canyon might not seem impressive at first, but if you explore its mountains instead of going to the woods, you will see many interesting things. These mountains hide ancient structures and entire biomes inside them, making each of them an entire adventure with unique mysteries waiting to be solved.

10 Best Minecraft Mine Ideas: Cool Entrances and Designs https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-minecraft-mine-ideas-cool-entrances-and-designs/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-minecraft-mine-ideas-cool-entrances-and-designs/#respond Mon, 04 Dec 2023 14:56:48 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=968757 Is your Minecraft mine looking a little underwhelming? Need ideas? We’ve got you covered. Here are five cool mine entrance ideas for Minecraft!

Mine Entrance Designs for Minecraft

Simple Mine Entrance – Artic.Uno_MC

MInecraft_Build_Artic

If you’re looking for something small, natural, and straightforward, this simple mine entrance is a great choice. While there’s no tutorial, this mine entrance should be easy enough to replicate from images alone.

The entrance is made of wood logs, planks, stripped logs, and stairs, and you can easily swap wood types to blend more naturally into your biome. The beauty of this build is in the tiny details. The entrance flows really well into its surroundings, from the small pond nearby to the bushes and flowers. The cobblestone walls hanging from the ceiling create a realistic cavern look! Just be careful with those TNT minecarts— don’t blow up all your hard work!

Mining Camp – Reimiho

Minecraft_Mine_Build_Reimiho

This is a larger project, but the tutorial makes the process easier than ever. It covers the required materials, terrain, and optimal build location, and does the entire process in survival mode!

This build is composed of three different parts: the entrance, the crane, and the storage area. The crane is an excellent addition for players looking for an industrial feel, and the storage makes this mine entrance practical and visually pleasing. Again, be careful with that TNT!

Cozy Mining Entrance – TheMythicalSausage

Minecraft_Mine_Build_Mythical

For players who prefer something a little more fantasy-aligned, this cozy fantasy mining entrance is a great find. Plus, the narrated tutorial is short and easy to follow. This entrance is structured like a comfy cottage embedded into the side of a hill, surrounded by deep forest and flowers! This build has a mystical aura about it, and players can accentuate that feeling by adding extra touches, like Blue Orchids, spiderwebs, or mossy stone.

Unique Mine Entrances – Eli’s Art

Minecraft_Mine_Build_Eli

This tutorial is four mine entrance ideas in one video! These builds are super unique, from an entrance on the water to a trippy textured front wall. The wide entrances allow some of the designs to include rails, allowing you to set up a working transportation system for your mine. There’s also extra outside decoration and details, like a picnic table and foliage.

Large Mining Base – Alisson Josè

Minecraft_Mine_Build_Alisson

Another larger build, this open-air mining base is great for players who favor practicality. This mine has everything you’ll need, from storage to crafting to transportation. The minecart rails are a highlight of this build, with Redstone connections, levers, and more to make mining easier and faster.

Medieval Mining Entrance – Mechitect

Minecraft_Mine_Build_Mechitect

It’s short, it’s simple, and it’s slightly spooky— it’s a medieval mine entrance. If you’re looking for something effortless, this mine entrance is a great choice. You can use this entrance as a descent to a larger mine foyer if you want a little extra space. The spiderwebs tie the place together.

Mountain House with Mine Entrance – BunnyhopHigh

Minecraft_Mine_Build_Bunny

Kill two birds with one stone by making this mountain house with an attached mine. House not big enough? There’s plenty of room for expansion within the mountain. Plus, your trip to the mine is sure to be short— it’s just downstairs. Just make sure it’s well-lit to avoid monsters spawning in your basement.

Hole in the Ground – Dimatrix_Game

Minecraft_Mine_Build_Dimatrix

Hop right into this build— no, literally. If you’re on an island or an area with limited space, this vertical mine entrance is a great way to utilize what you have. It’s more than just a hole in the ground, too— it’s got character.

Forested Medieval Mine – Juras6x

Minecraft_Mine_Build_Jura

Another medieval entry to the list! This would go well with a forest biome, like a jungle or dark forest, or as an entrance to a lush cave. You can build this entrance anywhere there’s an open cave mouth, or simply carve out your own. This build gives off enchanted, overgrown vibes.

Starter House with Mine – Foxel

Minecraft_Mine_Build_Foxel

If you liked the mountain house and mine, but you’re looking for something a little more suburban, this tutorial will help you out! Cute, cozy, and practical, with lots of space for flowers, decorations, and storage. They even have another tutorial for a house with an attached mine and dock!

Now that you’ve got a great idea for a mine entrance, how about where to put it? Check out our 25 Best Minecraft Seeds for 1.20 to find the perfect spot for your new build.

For these “cracked” players, these servers offer the closest thing to a genuine Minecraft multiplayer experience they’ll ever get since most mainstream Minecraft servers don’t accept players with cracked accounts.

Cracked Minecraft servers can be challenging to work with at best and dangerous to the health of your computer at worst, so you’ll need to pick the right one before you even think about delving into the illicit realm of cracked Minecraft. Here is a list of the best cracked Minecraft servers out there.

Best Cracked Minecraft Servers to Play

This seed has a big water area, tall mountains, and a flat forest. You could build a castle or a village near the water. But the best part is under the ground. There are caves with lots of light. You could make a city or a mine down there. There’s room for building and places to explore, making this one of the best 1.20 seeds.

Adventure Stage: 88851231548

Multibiome-Plane
Image: Attack of the Fanboy

Using this seed, you will find a jungle, a desert, and a lake with a forest around it. The more you explore, the more you discover. And for those who want to build cities, the flat fields are really helpful. There’s also a village not that far from the spawn point and some structures. This seed offers variety for builders and survivors, making it one of my favorites for Trails and Tales.

Minecraft Potions Guide: All Potion Recipes and Ingredients https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/minecraft-potions-guide-all-potion-recipes-and-ingredients/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/minecraft-potions-guide-all-potion-recipes-and-ingredients/#respond Mon, 27 Nov 2023 21:22:43 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=968716 Potions are extremely helpful in Minecraft. They can heal, harm, slow, strengthen, or even turn you invisible! The brewing process can seem daunting, so we’ve created an easy guide to understanding all ingredients, bases, and potions in Minecraft.

Minecraft Potion Guide

Brewing Stand

First, in order to brew anything, you’ll have to craft a Brewing Stand. A Brewing Stand is crafted using a singular Blaze Rod in the middle slot, and three Cobblestone along the bottom. Brewing Stands have five slots: the leftmost slot is for Blaze Powder, the top slot is for your ingredients, and the bottom three slots are for bases and potions.

All Potion Ingredients, Bases, and Recipes

Ingredients

To create potions, you’ll need to gather ingredients. Here are all the potential ingredients used within potion recipes, as well as how to find and/or craft them!

  • Blaze Powder. Crafted from Blaze Rods, which drop from Blazes. Used as fuel for a Brewing Stand.
  • Fermented Spider Eye. Crafted using sugar, a brown mushroom, and a spider eye. Fermented spider eyes are used to craft potions with negative effects or to invert potions.
  • Ghast Tear. Drops from Ghasts.
  • Glistering Melon. Crafted using eight gold nuggets around a melon slice.

Minecraft Update 1.21: Release Date, Breeze Mob, New Blocks, Trial Chambers, and Early Patch Notes https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/minecraft-update-1-21-release-date-breeze-mob-trial-chambers-and-early-patch-notes/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/minecraft-update-1-21-release-date-breeze-mob-trial-chambers-and-early-patch-notes/#respond Mon, 27 Nov 2023 19:23:51 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=956361 Minecraft‘s latest update, Update 1.21, closed out Minecraft Live 2023, and it put on quite a show during its time in the spotlight. Here’s a roundup of the Minecraft Update 1.21 release date and its unique features, as well as a list of the patch notes that have been released.

Minecraft Update 1.21 Release Date

Minecraft Update 1.21 is likely to release in Summer 2024, in June at the earliest. This fits the release pattern set by more recent Minecraft updates like Minecraft Update 1.19 and Minecraft Update 1.20. These updates were released in June 2022 and June 2023.

Minecraft Update 1.21 New Features

Minecraft Update 1.21 doesn’t have as many quality-of-life fixes as previous updates, nor does it introduce any new biomes (that we know of). However, it does feature more than a few features that add a new level of exploration, combat, and crafting. Here are all of the new features coming in Minecraft Update 1.21.

Trial Chambers

Minecraft-1.21-Trial-Chambers-1
Image: Mojang Studios

The first main addition brought by Minecraft Update 1.21 is the Trial Chambers. Spawning in underground areas like caverns, Trial Chambers are a sprawling, more challenging version of the Mineshafts and Strongholds. Packed to the brim with hidden traps and dangerous enemies, Trial Chambers will be an enticing challenge.

Unlike Mineshafts and Strongholds, Trial Dungeons are primarily composed of Copper Blocks and Tuff Blocks. The Trial Chambers also include several new blocks, including:

  • Chiseled Copper
  • Copper Grate
  • Copper Door
  • Copper Trapdoor
  • Copper Bulb
  • Tuff Slab
  • Tuff Stairs
  • Tuff Wall
  • Chiseled Tuff
  • Polished Tuff
  • Polished Tuff Slab
  • Polished Tuff Stairs
  • Polished Tuff Wall
  • Tuff Bricks
  • Tuff Brick Slab
  • Tuff Brick Stairs
  • Tuff Brick Wall
  • Chiseled Tuff Bricks

Examples featured include the Copper Bulb, a new light source that illuminates the dim halls of Trial Chambers and glows brighter when struck by an axe. This new block can be found in the Trial Chambers and incorporated into the player’s home base, making exploration of these fun and rewarding.

Related: 5 Best Minecraft Bed Wars Servers (2023)

The second is the Trial Spawner, a variant of the standard Monster Spawner block that can spawn a variety of Mobs and adapts to the number of players in the Trial Chamber. During a hands-on preview of the Trial Chambers hosted by the update’s development team, Strays and Slimes were shown to spawn from Trial Spawns.

Depending on the blocks surrounding the Spawner, you’ll see the following types of enemies spawn:

Minecraft Mobs from Trial SpawnerBlocks Surrounding Spawner
ZombieMossy Cobblestone
HuskChiseled Sandstone
SlimeMoss
SilverfishStone Bricks
Baby ZombieCobblestone / Mossy Cobblestone
SpiderStone with Cobweb on Top
Cave SpiderStone with Cobweb on Top and Podzol with Red Mushrooms
StrayPacked Ice
SkeletonBone
Skeleton with Poison ArrowsBone and Podzol with Red Mushrooms
BreezeChiseled Tuff

These Spawners yield impressive resource drops when you clear them, and mobs will reappear after a 30-minute cooldown, so don’t destroy them, and bring lots of friends!

The Breeze Mob

Minecraft-1.21-Breeze
Image: Mojang Studios

The Breeze is a new hostile Mob that spawns in specialized rooms within Trial Chambers. Described as “playful” during the hands-on presentation, the Breeze is a sentient mass of wind resembling the Blaze in appearance and behavior. The Breeze is a highly mobile Mob that attacks by firing blasts of wind that damage players and generate small gusts of wind that can push Mobs and dropped objects around.

While the gust of wind that Breezes spawn cannot hurt players like the attacks that generate them, they can interact with Levers, Buttons, Trapdoors, and possibly Redstone Devices. Based on the footage shown in the hands-on preview, rooms where Breezes spawn are packed with traps that can be triggered by gusts of wind. Players must keep their wits about them and avoid being hit by the Breeze in these rooms.

The Armadillo Mob

Armadillo-Minecraft-Mob-Vote
Image: Mojang

As has become a tradition in recent years, Minecraft Live 2023 hosted the yearly Mob Vote event, which presents players with three Mobs and allows them to decide which one will be added to the game’s next update. The selection of Mobs in this year’s Mob Vote were all peaceful animal Mobs that, under the right circumstances, can provide players with unique buffs and crafting materials. The choices were:

  • The Crab
  • The Armadillo
  • The Penguin

The Armadillo emerged as the winner of the three, amassing 43.7 percent of the vote. Armadillos spawn in the Savannah Biome, and their unique ability references their real-life counterpart’s most distinctive trait. When startled, the Armadillo will curl up into a ball (or, in this case, block) to hide from you. When the Armadillo does this, it drops a Scute, which can be used to craft a new variety of armor that can be equipped to a player’s pet wolf.

While the Penguin and the Crab did not win the Mob Vote, that doesn’t mean they won’t be added to the game at some point in the future. The Frog Mob, for instance, was a loser of the 2019 Biome Vote, but it and its signature Biome, the Swamp, eventually made their way into the game just two years later.

The Crafter

Minecraft-1.21-Crafter
Image: Mojang Studios

Crafting lies at the heart of Minecraft’s gameplay formula, and the Crafter is a tool specifically designed to make crafting more accessible and more time-efficient. Acting as a variant to the standard Crafting Table, the Crafter is a Redstone-powered crafting tool that allows players to set a unique “Crafting Mold” that the Crafter can use to auto-build, provided you have the necessary materials.

Unfortunately, the Crafter can only craft one kind of item, and it doesn’t seem like you can change the Crafter’s in-built template after you’ve selected it. For example, if you’ve built a Crafter that can auto-build a Sword, you’ll have to create a new Crafter from scratch if you want one that can auto-build a Pickaxe.

10 Best PlayStation Texture Packs for Minecraft https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-playstation-texture-packs-for-minecraft/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-playstation-texture-packs-for-minecraft/#respond Mon, 27 Nov 2023 15:01:08 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=968538 Minecraft has many texture packs that allow you to customize your gaming experience, but do you know which ones are the best?

Although you can create your own worlds in this game, it doesn’t necessarily allow you to make them look the way you want. Unless, of course, you have the proper texture pack for the job. Each texture pack significantly changes the appearance of your game, but which one should get?

Natural Texture Pack

Natural-Texture-Pack
Image: Mojang

Offering a more mature and slightly more realistic look, the Natural Texture Pack enhances some fo the visual elements of your Minecraft. It is a good choice for players who spend a lot of time exploring underground since it makes the ores and blocks visible when mining.

City Texture Pack

City-Texture-Pack
Image: Mojang

For the urban architect in you, the City Texture Pack transforms your Minecraft world into an urban environment. You will see concrete walls and zombies in suits among other things. It’s ideal for building structures like skyscrapers and roads.

Fantasy Texture Pack

Fantasy-Texture
Image: Mojang

The Fantasy Pack does what the name suggests. It will make the game look a lot more fantastic, with that medieval fantasy theme that significantly changes the tone and overall look of the game. It’s perfect for those who enjoy creating their own medieval empires, complete with detailed textures for castles and knights.

Plastic Texture Pack

Plastic-Texture-Pack
Image: Mojang

If you prefer a more simplistic and vibrant aesthetic, the Plastic Texture Pack is for you. It gives the game a clean and bright look, making it feel like a toy set. It doesn’t change much of the game’s overall aesthetics, but it does look much cleaner.

Candy Texture Pack

Candy-Texture-Pack

The Candy texture pack transforms the game into a sweet wonderland. This pack is for those who want something really different, thematic, and over-the-top.

Steampunk Texture Pack

Steampunk-Texture-Pack
Image: Mojang

The Steampunk Texture Pack is perfect for those who enjoy a more gritty and mechanical aesthetic. It gives the game a unique industrial look. The textures are inspired by the Victorian era, although they seem to have darker shades leaning toward dieselpunk at times.

Cartoon Texture Pack

Cartoon-Texture
Image: Mojang

Enjoy a more lighthearted gaming experience with the Cartoon Texture Pack. It gives the game a fun and happy look reminiscent of old cartoons. Most creatures will have big eyes and seem to be in a good mood.

Super Cute Texture Pack

The Cute Texture Pack is an over-the-top pack that aims to let you create the most beautiful and cheerful world with bunnies, unicorns, and burgers.

Pattern Texture Pack

Pattern-Texture

If you are bored of similar textures, check the Pattern Texture Pack. It changes the appearance of your game and turns it into a colorful world with knitted animals and beautiful patterns. It is among the over-the-top texture packs, but it is a visually refreshing choice nonetheless.

Best Minecraft Map Mod: JourneyMap vs Xaero’s Minimap https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-minecraft-map-mod-journeymap-vs-xaeros-minimap/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-minecraft-map-mod-journeymap-vs-xaeros-minimap/#respond Wed, 22 Nov 2023 22:17:07 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=968170 While playing Minecraft, it’s hard to overstate how frustrating it used to be to navigate the procedurally-generated terrain.

The in-game maps you could make often pale in comparison to the Minecraft map mod options, with two main competitors: JourneyMap and Xaero’s Minimap, but which one is the superior offering?

Is JourneyMap or Xaero’s Minimap & World Map the Best Minecraft Map Mod?

Xaero’s Minimap and World Map are arguably the best pair of map mods, offering a streamlined presentation of the generated world in Minecraft. The mod boasts toggle options for Cave Mode and several quality-of-life improvements to gameplay.

However, the only disadvantage is you must install both Xaero’s Minimap and Xaero’s World Map mods to get the full experience. This adds an intuitive minimap along with showing mobs when you press ‘M’ to view the world map.

Related: Minecraft 1.20 Ore Distribution: Best Y-Levels for All Ores

Both map mod options have a similar offering in both the topographical and cave map options, but it’s just a simple matter of navigating the map menu. Xaero’s feels more like a user-friendly, clean interface while retaining the waypoint options which are almost identical to those found in JourneyMap.

Best-Minecraft-Map-Mod-JourneyMap-World-Map
JourneyMap World Map, Image: Attack of the Fanboy

JourneyMap’s differences lie in some better customization options and control over viewing the map during the day or nighttime.

Which Mod Has the Better Minimap?

I would argue that JourneyMap has a slight edge here, as it constantly has the same orientation allowing you to always know what direction you’re going in the world. Xaero’s is excellent and fluid as well, but is smaller, and it’s one of the weaker elements of that mod combo.

Best-Minecraft-Map-Mod-JourneyMap-Minimap
JourneyMap Minimap, Image: Attack of the Fanboy

So while Xaero’s Minimap and Xaero’s World Map combined make for a better user experience, JourneyMap has potentially greater freedom of customization and a better minimap. While this hardly disqualifies Xaero’s, JourneyMap is packed into one mod instead of 2, making it a more efficient choice, if slightly less elegant and easy to use.

Minecraft Star Wars Path of the Jedi DLC: Release Date, Price, and Force Powers Explained https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/minecraft-star-wars-path-of-the-jedi-dlc-release-date-price-and-force-powers-explained/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/minecraft-star-wars-path-of-the-jedi-dlc-release-date-price-and-force-powers-explained/#respond Mon, 16 Oct 2023 23:34:04 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=956459 One of the most exciting Minecraft-related projects announced during Minecraft Live 2023 was Minecraft: Path of the Jedi, a Star Wars-themed, story-driven DLC. Set during the Clone Wars era of the Star Wars timeline, Minecraft: Path of the Jedi will allow players to become a fully-fledged, Force-wielding Jedi Knight and explore a blocky rendition of a galaxy far, far away. Here are the release date and price of Minecraft: Path of the Jedi and a run-down of the DLC’s unique Force Powers system.

Minecraft: Path of the Jedi Release Date

Minecraft-Path-of-the-Jedi-DLC-Coruscant
Image: Mojang Studios

Minecraft: Path of the Jedi didn’t get nearly as much screentime as Minecraft: Update 1.21, but it will arrive much sooner than the main game’s next major expansion. As of writing, Minecraft: Path of the Jedi will be released on November 7th, 2023. Unfortunately for Minecraft: Java users, Minecraft: Path of the Jedi will only be compatible with Minecraft: Bedrock, although it will be available for all versions of Bedrock that are currently available

Minecraft: Path of the Jedi Price

Once it is officially released, Minecraft: Path of the Jedi can be purchased from the store on the official Minecraft website. The price of the DLC has yet to be announced, but previous story-driven Minecraft expansions like Minecraft: Dungeons & Dragons cost $7.99, so it’s reasonable to assume that Minecraft: Path of the Jedi will be around the same price.

Related: The 25 Best Minecraft Seeds for 1.20: Ancient Cities, Villages, Easy Diamonds, Cherry Blossom Groves, and More(October 2023)

To celebrate the release of Minecraft: Path of the Jedi, players can download a free cosmetic item: an R2-D2-themed t-shirt that their in-game avatar can wear. You can download this t-shirt even if you don’t purchase Minecraft: Path of the Jedi, but it will be gone after December 7th, 2023, so make sure you download it as soon as possible once it becomes available.

Minecraft: Path of the Jedi Force Powers

In Minecraft: Path of the Jedi, players assume control of a Jedi Padawan who, after building their lightsaber and assembling a droid companion, is sent out to complete dangerous missions on behalf of the Jedi Council. This journey will see the player visit many worlds and encounter sinister agents of the Dark Side, uncovering a dangerous conspiracy that threatens the Jedi and the Galactic Republic.

As is often the case in Star Wars games, Minecraft: Path of the Jedi will allow players to wield the power of the Force. While it’s still unclear how Force abilities will work in the DLC, the trailer showed that players could use the Force to push enemies away or hold them in place. These abilities will likely work like the Bending system in Avatar: The Last Airbender-themed mods like Avatar Mod 2: Out of the Iceberg.

In previous years, we’ve had the Mob Vote to thank for the Glow Squid, Allay, and, most recently, the Sniffer. But which exciting new creatures will we be choosing from in the 2023 Minecraft Mob Vote? In this guide, we cover all three mobs featured in Minecraft Live 2023’s Mob Vote and how you can vote for your favorite.

The crab is the first mob revealed for the Minecraft Live 2023 Mob Vote. These crabptivating creatures live in Mangrove Swamps and love to help out players with building when they’re in a pinch.

The crab can help players place blocks further away, which can come in handy (clawy?) when building bridges and trying to get across tricky gaps.

Armadillo

Your second choice is the armadillo; these adorable and very rectangular creatures call the Desert and Savannah biomes their home. Spheres may not exist in Minecraft, but that doesn’t stop armadillos from curling up when frightened.

Armadillos drop Scute, which can be used to craft armor for wolves — a long-requested feature from Minecraft fans.

Penguin

Your third and final choice is everyone’s favorite flightless bird, the penguin. Penguins live in the Stony Shore biome, where they waddle on land and swim gracefully in the sea.

Curious penguins will hop on and around your boat, helping you to sail faster to your next destination. Their design is based on the real-life rockhopper penguin, with yellow crests above their eyes and on their cute little heads.

How to Vote on the Minecraft Mob Vote 2023

The 2023 Minecraft Mob Vote officially opens at 1 pm EDT on October 13, 2023, and will last until October 15 at 1:15 pm EDT. The winner will be announced sometime during the Minecraft Live livestream, which starts at 1 pm EDT on October 15.

Players have three different ways to vote. The first involves joining the live event server in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. If you prefer Java or can’t hop in game, you can also vote on Minecraft.net or directly in the Minecraft Launcher.

You need to sign in to your Microsoft account to vote, and your choice will only be counted once — no matter how many times you refresh or pull the lever. As much as I adore penguins, the wolf armor from the armadillo may just sway my vote.

Whichever mob you decide on, don’t forget to tune in to Minecraft Live on October 15 to see which one of these precious little guys makes it into Minecraft.

This monster of a patch not only fixes many bugs and glitches but also significantly changes several gameplay features and quality-of-life improvements that will undoubtedly delight players. Here’s the patch notes for Minecraft: Bed Rock Edition 1.20.30.

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.20.30 Patch Notes

The scope of content updates present in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.20.30 is impressive, and they range from large-scale revamps of resource quantity to subtle updates to the heads-up display and notification system. All of these changes are tailor-made to give players a smoother gameplay experience by giving them more tools to mess around while ensuring that any information they need to know is delivered in a way they can see.

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.20.30 also goes to great lengths to address the numerous bugs and console command issues players discovered when 1.20 dropped back in June. Here are Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.20.30’s patch notes.

New Features

Updated “You Died” Experience

  • The camera now zooms out so it’s easier to see why you died.
  • The hotbar is visible at all times.
  • You can change certain settings before respawning.

Crawling

  • The Crawling experimental toggle has been removed and Crawling under 1 block gaps is now fully implemented into the game
  • Updated the camera interpolation rate when crawling to match Java Edition (MCPE-170841)
  • Fixed some scenarios where crawling was not correctly being triggered on the server (MCPE-171225)

Recipe Unlocking

  • Recipe Unlocking is no longer an Experimental Feature, but can still be turned on and off per world
  • You can now enable Recipe Unlocking on the Create New World screen (MCPE-172956)
  • The command for unlocking recipes has been updated. The autosuggestion to give a player a recipe now says “player: target” instead of “victim: target” (MCPE-172402)
  • ‘Recipe unlocked’ message is no longer visible on the pause menu (MCPE-171112)

  • The order of command inputs was changed to be the same as on Java Edition (MCPE-171098)
  • Recipe Unlocking Game Rule
    • Added an optional game rule for limited crafting. The game rule is only relevant when recipe unlocking is enabled. When set to “true” it prevents players from crafting recipes they have not yet unlocked. It is off by default and can only be modified through the “/gamerule” command.

Recipe Book Search

  • The recipe book search has been updated when playing in Survival mode with the following changes:
    • The search will only match the beginning of any word in the item’s name. For example, searching for “tor” will now show Torch and Redstone Torch but not Daylight Detector)
    • Search will now work better together with the Recipe Unlocking system – recipes that haven’t been unlocked will show up in search results.
  • This change will enable experienced players to find items they are looking for (even if it hasn’t been unlocked yet) while not overwhelming new players with recipes they aren’t yet ready for.
  • These changes are planned for both Bedrock and Java Edition, but they are still being tweaked and we definitely want to hear your feedback! Send us your thoughts at aka.ms/MinecraftRecipeSearch.

Sleeping Percentage Gamerule

  • Added the ‘playersleepingpercentage’ gamerule, allowing night to be skipped when the specified percent of players logged into a world are sleeping (MCPE-114425)
  • A zero or a negative value will only require one player to sleep to skip the night
  • When set to over 100, the night cannot be skipped.

Vanilla Parity

Block Breaking

  • We have adjusted the breaking times of 188 blocks to match Java Edition and our intended design. Some blocks couldn’t be changed yet for technical reasons and Obsidian was left unchanged because we’re still deciding what breaking speed it should have. Bringing more blocks to parity makes it easier for our team to keep both versions up to date. We also hope it will be easier for the community to make and share guides that work for all players on all platforms.
  • The full list of block breaking times and changes can be found at the very end of this changelog.

Gameplay

  • Wandering Trader now trades Cherry Saplings (MCPE-171521)
  • Villagers are now prevented from gaining a profession when sleeping (MCPE-81790)

  • Formation of ice and snow is now controlled by random tick

  • Witches now throw healing and regeneration potions at raiders during village raids.

Blocks

  • Fixed a bug that caused players to not be able to crawl under Slabs when standing on Top Snow (MCPE-170994)
  • Top Snow is now in parity with Java Edition and each layer has a different height (MCPE-60024)

Experimental Features

Experimental Trade Changes

  • This update includes experimental changes to the Wandering Trader and Librarian Villager trades. You must turn on this experiment in the Experiments Menu if you want to test the new trades.
  • We are trying out these changes to rebalance the villager trade system and make it more fair and fun for everyone. However, these changes are not yet final, and they will stay as experimental features while we continue to work on them. We still need your feedback to help us improve and decide, so please continue to let us know what you think of the new trades, what you like and dislike, and what suggestions you have at aka.ms/VillagerTradingFeedback.

Library

  • Before these changes, players could get any Village enchantment from any Librarian. A novice Librarian could sell the best enchantment in the game! For some players, this felt too random and made trading feel overpowered when compared to using the Enchanting Table or searching for Enchanted Books in structures.
  • With the new rules, Librarians from different biomes sell different enchantments. Master Librarians are guaranteed to have a special enchantment which is different in each Village biome.
  • Players will have to work towards getting the best trades instead of relying on random chance. We hope this makes Librarian trading more interesting and skilful, while also revealing some clues about their history of each Village type through the enchantments that are sold there.
  • Librarians from different biomes now sell different Enchanted Books
  • Master Librarians with full XP are guaranteed to sell a special enchantment, which is different in each Village biome
  • This means that players must visit all seven Village biomes to get the full set of Villager enchantments
  • There are two secret Village biomes where Villages do not generate
    • A player must build these Villages to access their trades!
  • Some enchantments have been removed from Village trading and must be found in other ways.

Wandering Trader

  • Some players felt that the Wandering Trader had unfair prices and didn’t sell many useful items. We have lowered their prices, added more trades, and increased the amounts available. The Wandering Trader will also now buy useful items from players, so it’s possible to help them on their journey by giving them supplies even if you don’t feel like buying anything.
  • As this is an experiment, we would really appreciate your feedback as work continues and to help us decide on the future direction for Villager trades!
  • Wandering Traders now have lower prices and have a higher amount of each item in stock
  • Wandering Traders now sell Logs
  • Wandering Traders can now buy many items, instead of only selling.

Minimum Supported Mobile Hardware

As Minecraft grows, so must the operating system and hardware that supports it. For some older Apple devices, you may need to update to iOS 13 or above by February 2024 to continue receiving updates for Minecraft or to access online play.  If you are on the most up-to-date version of iOS already, you have nothing to worry about. Please follow Apple’s guide on how to update your device. You can also refer to their list of devices currently compatible with iOS 13/iPadOS13.

For Android, as of February 2024, devices require greater than 1 GB RAM, run OS 8 (Oreo) or above, and have OpenGL ES 3.0 to run Minecraft.

5 Best Minecraft Bed Wars Servers https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/5-best-minecraft-bed-wars-servers-2023/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/5-best-minecraft-bed-wars-servers-2023/#respond Mon, 04 Sep 2023 22:34:49 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=936946 Bedwars is a player-versus-player Minecraft minigame that pits two or more teams of players against each other in a battle royale. Players start the game on a floating island and must use the tools available to make it to their rival’s island and destroy their bed while keeping their own from meeting the same fate, with the end goal being to be the last team standing once the dust has settled.

Players who want to try out what is rapidly becoming one of the most popular Minecraft minigames out there have plenty of servers to choose from. However, it’s essential to know which Bedwars server is best for you; otherwise, you might face off against players who are much more experienced than you. Here is our pick of the five best Minecraft Bedwars servers.

5 Best Minecraft Bedwar Servers in 2023

The ocean of Minecraft servers that allow you to play Bedwars is vast, and most have something good going for them. The servers listed below are the best we could find, and they all have at least one unique perk that makes them worth looking into. Let’s take a look at some of the best.

    5. Bridger Land

Bridger Land is an excellent Minecraft server for players still finding their footing in the minigame circuit. Bridger Land is a “training ground” that allows you to practice playing Minecraft minigames until you feel comfortable enough to dabble in more competitive servers. Bedwars is one of the many minigames that Bridger Land supports, and the server offers specialized “courses” designed to help you hone the many stable Bedwars techniques, from PvP to speedbridging.

    4. Mineland

Mineland is one of the more popular Minecraft minigame servers, and Bedwars is one of its main attractions. There’s never a shortage of players looking to get in a bit of Bedwars on Mineland, so you rarely have to wait for a lobby to fill with enough players, and the sheer size of the server’s player base ensures that you’ll be playing with and against a healthy mix of newbies and experienced veterans.

    3. BlockDrop

Blockdrop is a cracked Minecraft server that began as a gathering place for Bedwars-enthusiasts but has since expanded into a massive hub of Minecraft minigame activity. BlockDrop’s main claim to fame is its expansive tier-based matchmaking mechanic, which allows players to decide how many teams they’ll be up against and how many players are on them. This enables you to choose how intense every round of Bedwars you play in the server will be.

    2. BlocksMC

BlocksMC is one of the newer Minecraft minigame servers out there, but it’s quickly becoming one of the most popular. With a user-friendly interface and a ranking system that lets you see where you and other players stand in terms of experience, Blocks MC is great for players who feel ready to dip their toes in more competitive waters. However, it still ensures that those who want to partake in friendlier competition can enjoy themselves.

    1. HyPixel

Anyone remotely familiar with the Minecraft minigame server-verse knew this was coming. In the near decade since its launch in 2013, HyPixel has established itself as the unconquerable king of Minecraft minigame servers, and its Bedwars scene is one of the biggest in the world. Minecraft legends like the late Technoblade out their start playing Bedwars in HyPixel, and the server’s dedication to improving its user interface and matchmaking mechanics will likely continue to draw new and old players for years to come.

Best Minecraft Enchantments – Pickaxe, Sword, Bow, Armor, and Other Tools https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-minecraft-enchantments-pickaxe-sword-bow-armor-and-other-tools/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-minecraft-enchantments-pickaxe-sword-bow-armor-and-other-tools/#respond Wed, 12 Jul 2023 22:23:00 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=748411 Enchanting has been a significant mechanic in Minecraft since Version 1.0, allowing players to imbue weapons, tools, and armor with Enchantments that can enhance their base abilities or grant them new properties that completely change how they can be used. Placing the proper Enchantment on a specific tool can mean the difference between success and failure in whatever endeavor you plan on tackling. Still, the sheer number of Enchantments in the game can make figuring out what Enchantments work well with a specific item tricky.

Enhancing an item is one of the most expensive actions you can perform in Minecraft, so knowing which Enchantments are worth getting and which are better off avoiding is essential if you want to avoid wasting your time and resources. We’ve compiled a list of the best Enchantments for every item in Minecraft, so keep reading if you want to turn your inventory into an arsenal capable of conquering any adversity you encounter.

How to Enchant Items in Minecraft

    enchanting-minecraft
Image: Attack of the Fanboy / Mojang

Enchanting items is something that many Minecraft players don’t know how to do, mostly because the game isn’t exactly forthright on how you’re supposed to go about it. There are a few ways to enchant items in Minecraft, but the easiest is through an Enchantment Table. We’ve already made a great guide that covers all the materials you need to build one, so check that out if you want to know more.

From there, you’ll need to amass Experience Points and level up to specific levels to unlock all possible enchantments. You’ll also need to gather Lapis Lazuli, which is needed to imbue an item with an Enchantment. Lapis Lazuli can generally found in deposits deep underground or inside Abandoned Mansion in rooms with Illager Statures.

Another way to Enchant items is to use the anvil to fuse an Enchanted item with a non-Enchanted item or fuse two Enchanted Items together. Anvils are also the primary way to repair Enchanted items, which is done, so you will want to have an anvil even if you don’t plan on using it to create Enchanted items.

While Enchanting items can be a pain, the buffs the give to items are well worth the cost. With the right Enchantments, challenges that once seemed impossible can be accomplished with relative ease. Below is our picks for the best Enchantmets for every Item or unique situation in Minecraft.

How to Crawl in Minecraft Bedrock – Explained https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-crawl-in-minecraft-bedrock-explained/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-crawl-in-minecraft-bedrock-explained/#respond Wed, 12 Jul 2023 17:56:39 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=933824 Crawling in Minecraft is surprisingly tricky to pull off, and players may need guidance on how to do so. Crawling allows players to maneuver through small areas — such as secret passageways leading to your hideaways. This guide will teach you how to crawl in Minecraft Bedrock.

    How to Crawl in Minecraft

Players can crawl in the Minecraft Bedrock edition by entering the swimming animation provided in the game. To activate this, you only need to enter and exit the water — swimming into the hole you wish to crawl through. Follow the steps below to start crawling quickly and easily.

    1. Build two blocks of slabs on top of each other.
    2. Add water to the two slab blocks with a water bucket.
    3. Walk into the water to start swimming.
    4. Swim towards the entrance where you would like to crawl through.

Related: How to Make Potion of Water Breathing in Minecraft

The entrance where you would like to crawl through has to be one block high, and the swimming animation will continue until you reach the end of the block. So if you want to crawl for a great distance, you must create a corridor one block high in a straight line.

This is essentially a glitch but a great way to crawl through secret entrances and get inside the structure. Unfortunately, this glitch is the only possible way to crawl currently. We hope Mojang Studios will eventually add a way to crawl in the Bedrock edition that doesn’t require the swimming animation.

How to Make a Water Bucket in Minecraft

Creating a water bucket boils down to gathering the proper materials. To create a water bucket in Minecraft, players must acquire three Iron Ingots — which can be obtained by smelting Iron Ore in a furnace. Next, arrange the three Iron Ingots on the crafting table in a V-shape. Once you have the Iron Ingots in the proper order, you will notice a water bucket appear — drag and drop it into your inventory.

How to Fix Minecraft “Abandoned Connection Closed” – Common Issues and Fixes https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-fix-minecraft-abandoned-connection-closed-common-issues-and-fixes/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-fix-minecraft-abandoned-connection-closed-common-issues-and-fixes/#respond Wed, 12 Jul 2023 17:38:31 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=933812 If you’re trying to enjoy a game of Minecraft with your buddies but are constantly met with the “abandoned connection closed” error, you’ve come to the right place. I know a couple fixes you can try to get rid of this particular network error. Let’s get into it; here is how to fix the “abandoned connection closed” error in Minecraft.

How to Fix the Abandoned Connection Closed Error in Minecraft

As great as Minecraft is, it isn’t immune to errors and bugs. The “abandoned connection closed” error is a network issue that can be resolved by trying a few of these tricks. There is no immediate cure-all fix for this error, so you’ll need to try these common fix techniques which should allow you to fix the issue.

    Restart Your Device

Whether you are on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or any other device, you can attempt to fix the “abandoned connection closed” error by restarting your device.

To do this, I recommend power cycling your device which involves turning off your device and unplugging the power cable. Wait for about 15 seconds and then plug the device back in and boot it up.

Try launching into a Minecraft server again to see if you get the same “abandoned connection closed” error. If you don’t, then you fixed the error and can get back to playing. If this didn’t solve your problem, then keep reading.

    Check Your Internet Connection

If power cycling your device didn’t work, the next step you need to try is checking your internet. Minecraft is an online game that requires a stable and active internet connection.

To do this, go to your router and check to see if it is on and functioning. Make sure that your device is securely connected to the internet via Wi-Fi.

If possible, I recommend running an ethernet cable from your router to your device. By doing this, you provide a rock-solid connection from your device to the internet. If you still get the “abandoned connection closed” error after trying this technique, then you know the problem isn’t your internet.

    Uninstall and Reinstall Minecraft

Sometimes, for numerous reasons, game files can become corrupted. This can happen to your download of Minecraft which may cause the “abandoned connection closed” error. The only way to fix the issue if this is the case for you is to uninstall Minecraft and reinstall it.

Wait for Mojang to Patch the Error

If none of these fixes work for you, then sadly, the best thing you can do is wait for Mojang to fix the error themselves. It is not uncommon for a developer to have to fix a particularly egregious error or bug on their end through a hotfix or patch.

Keep an eye out for patch notes that mention the “abandoned connection closed” error. For now, you can enjoy a different game.

Now that you have solved the “abandoned connection closed” error in Minecraft, you can learn how to create the Potion of Water Breathing.

How to Make Potion of Water Breathing in Minecraft https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-make-potion-of-water-breathing-in-minecraft/ Fri, 07 Jul 2023 15:39:05 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=933223 Minecraft players will be very familiar with the process of brewing potions if they have been playing for a while, and the Potion of Water Breathing is extremely important for any player. I know how many times this potion has saved me when underwater so there are plenty of reasons as to why you should learn the recipe. This article will take you through how to make a Potion of Water Breathing in Minecraft and also includes some bonus tips just for you.

Minecraft Potion of Water Breathing Recipe

    Potion-of-Water-Breathing-Recipe-in-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

The first thing you will need for making the Potion of Water Breathing is a Brewing Stand. This can be crafted with three stone blocks (your best bet is regular Cobblestone for quickness) and one blaze rod. You will need a Crafting Table and when you are in the general Crafting Grid, place the stone blocks in a horizontal line, then have the Blaze Rod above the stone block in the middle. I have listed every ingredient you need for the water-breathing potion below.

    • One Pufferfish
    • Blaze Powder
    • One Awkward Potion
    • Redstone

The Pufferfish can be found in warm, lukewarm, and deep lukewarm water biomes. If you jump into the ocean and search around, I have found it doesn’t take too long to find one. You will just (unfortunately) have to kill it and grab it when you do find them.

The Blaze Powder should be placed in the Fuel section of the Brewing Stand (Top left) and it can be obtained by eliminating Blazes, picking up Blaze Rods(s), and placing the rod in the middle square of a crafting table.

Redstone can also be placed at the top of the Brewing Stand once you have your Water Breathing Potion. This is because you can add Redstone if you want to increase the duration of the potion to eight minutes instead of three.

How to Make an Awkward Potion in Minecraft

In order to make the Awkward Potion, you will need to place a water bottle in the Brewing Stand along with the Blaze Powder (fuel) and one Nether Wart as the main ingredient. Nether Wart can be found (unsurprisingly) in the Nether. You will be able to locate Nether Wart in Nether Fortresses and it will be growing on the Soul Sand in the area — Looking in the basement is a great way to try and find some.

When you add all of that to the Brewing Stand you will create an Awkward Potion and you can proceed with making the Potion of Water Breathing — time to go exploring some Ocean Monuments with a fresh breath of air!

How to Make Terracotta in Minecraft https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-make-terracotta-in-minecraft/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-make-terracotta-in-minecraft/#respond Fri, 07 Jul 2023 14:19:39 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=933209 Terracotta is hardened clay that players can turn into various colors through dye. Players can use this material for building and other purposes — which we will detail in this guide. First, players must make Terracotta to reap its benefits, and the good news is that it is one of the easiest craftable materials to make in the game. This guide will cover how to make Terracotta in Minecraft.

Steps to Make Terracotta in Minecraft

Players can make Terracotta in Minecraft by adding two items to the furnace menu: 1x fuel item and 1x block of clay. Various materials are considered fuel items in the game, including coal, wood, charcoal, wooden items, bamboo, lava bucket, etc. — so you can add any of these items to the furnace as your fuel item, but it is mandatory also to include clay to make Terracotta. Follow the steps below to make Terracotta.

    1. Open Furnace Menu.
    2. Add the Fuel Item to the bottom section of the Furnace.
    3. Add a Block of Clay to the top section of the Furnace.
    4. Move newly made Terracotta to your inventory.

If you have yet to create a furnace, please read the next section on how to do so.

Related: How to Make Charcoal in Minecraft

How to Create a Furnace in Minecraft

Creating a furnace is straightforward; you only need to head into your crafting menu and place cobblestones inside the GUI. Make sure you leave the middle space in the crafting menu blank — creating a border of cobblestone around the edges of the GUI. This will create a furnace, which you can now grab and add to your inventory to start molding materials.

What Can Terracotta be Used for?

While the most popular reason for making Terracotta is building houses due to its diversity in the amount of colors it can be, there are also ways to use it for defense purposes. You see, Terracotta is extremely blast resistant — making it the perfect defensive armor to bring into large mobs that tend to throw explosives.

Players can also trade Terracotta to villagers for the rare rewards of Emeralds. This can take some extra time, considering it will cost around 16 Terracotta for Villagers to hand over the Emerald — but the time it takes to make all 16 is worth it.

Then most importantly, using Terracotta to create some unique builds is a possibility. Not only will Terracotta add some in-depth colors to your appearance, but it also will help with defensive measures when exploring the dangerous world of Minecraft.

Perhaps play a prank on your friends? This guide contains everything you need to know to make a Potion of Invisibility in Minecraft, which, as the name suggests, turns you completely invisible. We’ve even included tutorials on how to get the materials you need. Just don’t forget to remove your armor — it’s a real giveaway.

    Potion of Invisibility Minecraft Recipe

    Potion-of-Invisibility-Recipe-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

To make a Potion of Invisibility in Minecraft, you must brew a Fermented Spider Eye with a Potion of Nightvision at a Brewing Stand. If you don’t have any Potions of Nightvision on hand or have yet to dip your toes into alchemy, don’t worry. We’ll guide you through obtaining the materials needed to brew both potions and, most importantly, how to brew them.

    Step 1: Gather Your Materials

The full list of materials you will need to brew a Potion of Invisibility in Minecraft includes:

    • 1x Brewing Stand
    • 1x Blaze Powder
    • 1x Glass Bottle
    • 1x Nether Wart
    • 1x Golden Carrot or 8x Gold Nugget and 1x Carrot
    • 1x Fermented Spider Eye or 1x Spider Eye, 1x Brown Mushroom, 1x Sugar

    Brewing Stand and Blaze Powder

    Brewing-Stand-Recipe-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

If you’ve encountered this article looking to brew a potion, you’ll likely already have a Brewing Stand. If not, these can be crafted using a Blaze Rod and three Cobblestone (or any other stone-tier block).

Blaze Rods drop from defeated Blazes in Nether Fortresses. Putting a single Blaze Rod into a Crafting Table will create Blaze Powder, which is needed to power Brewing Stands and craft any potion in the game.

    Glass Bottle

    Glass-Bottle-Recipe-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

It goes without saying that you need a bottle to store your potion. Glass Bottles are crafted using three pieces of Glass. If you’re struggling to find Sand to heat up, you can fish them up or loot them from Witches. Drinking a potion also leaves a Glass Bottle behind.

    Nether Wart

    Nether-Warts-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

Nether Warts are found inside Nether Fortresses and Bastions in the Nether. You can also grow Nether Warts by planting them in Soul Sand. I have a little Nether Wart garden beside my house in my Survival world, which has become extremely useful, as they’re required to brew the base of most potions.

Golden Carrot, Golden Nuggets, and Carrots

    Crafting-Golden-Carrot-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

Golden Carrots are crafted using five Gold Nuggets and one Carrot. You can also find them in chests hidden in Ancient Cities, Bastions, and Ruined Portals. Farmer Villagers at Master level also have the chance to offer three Golden Carrots in exchange for three Emeralds.

You can use the Crafting Table to break a Gold Bar into 9 Gold Nuggets, smelt Golden armor or tools to receive a single Nugget, kill Zombified Piglins (better known as Zombie Pigmen), or find them in hidden chests.

The easiest way to find a Carrot itself is to loot one from a Village. Zombies, Husks, and Zombie Villagers also have a slight chance of dropping Carrots — or you can find them in chests inside Shipwrecks and Pillager Outposts.

Fermented Spider Eye, Sugar, Brown Mushrooms, and Spider Eyes

    Fermented-Spider-Eye-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

Fermented Spider Eyes are made by combining a Spider Eye, Brown Mushroom, and Sugar at a Crafting Table.

If you already have at least one item on this list, it’s a Spider Eye. As the name suggests, they drop from Spiders.

Brown Mushrooms spawn in dark areas, such as underground caves. You can also find them in Mushroom Fields (obviously), Old Growth Taiga, and Swamps. Shearing a Brown Mooshroom will give you five Brown Mushrooms and turn them into a Cow.

Finally, Sugar is created by placing Sugar Cane on a Crafting Table. Sugar Cane naturally generates near water or can be obtained from Wandering Traders for one Emerald. Remember to hit the Sugar Cane block above the one growing in the ground, allowing it to grow back.

Step 2: Brew an Awkward Potion

    Awkward-Potion-Recipe-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

The Awkward Potion is needed to brew just about any potion in Minecraft. To brew one, interact with a Brewing Stand, add a Nether Wart to the top, and a Water Bottle at the bottom. You can add up to three bottles to brew multiple potions at once to save resources. As long as your Blaze Powder powers the Brewing Stand, you’ll now have an Awkward Potion.

Step 3: Brew a Potion of Nightvision

    Potion-of-Nightvision-Recipe-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

Combine your Awkward Potion with a Golden Carrot at the Brewing Stand to make a Potion of Nightvision—carrot at the top, bottle at the bottom, just like before. Make sure not to drink it!

Step 4: Brew the Potion of Invisibility

    Potion-of-Invisibility-Recipe-Minecraft
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

Final step! Combine the Fermented Spider Eye with the newly brewed Potion of Nightvision to create a Potion of Invisibility! You can also combine this potion with Redstone to increase its duration from three minutes to eight. Don’t forget you can brew up to three potions at once for sneaky endeavors that might require potions like these.

How to Make Potion of Weakness in Minecraft

Here are the three steps required in making the Potion of Weakness in Minecraft:

    • Step 2 – Add ingredients to Brewing Stand
    • Step 3 – Add Gunpowder

Once you’ve made the Potion of Weakness in the Brewing Stand, you can add Gunpowder to it to make it a Splash Potion of Weakness, allowing you to use it to cure villagers. The guide below will explain exactly how to make a Splash Potion of Weakness in Minecraft.

Step 1: Gather the Ingredients for the Splash Potion of Weakness

For the Potion of Weakness, you need the following ingredients:

    • Blaze Powder – Common item that can be obtained from blazes.
    • Glass Bottle of Water – Glass bottles can be found in drops or crafted. Fill this bottle with water.
    • Fermented Spider Eye – Crafted with Spider Eye, Sugar, and Brown Mushroom

If you are needing to find a seed that has a similar vibe to Solitude from Skyrim (a sweeping coastal outcrop city) then you won’t need to look any further than this seed. There is a mountainous overhang that is directly nearby when you spawn. Along with this, we know that you will be able to find Trail Ruins along with a ruined Nether Portal (including plenty of loot to find) close by to the spawn too.

    9. Quick Ocean Monument | Seed: 2052062

Sometimes you just need to find a structure like an Ocean Monument fast and this is when the quick Ocean Monument seed can work wonders. Even though it is a general template seed, the usefulness of having an Ocean Monument in front of you when you spawn is excellent. I tend to always build up a main base in survival near the main monument area and build up my gear from there until going exploring.

In 1.20 it is especially effective due to the fact that for the Tide Armor Trim, you have to slay Elder Guardians — these mobs are found near ocean monuments.

    6. Swamp and Cherry Grove Combo | Seed: -8993487180103006794

If you are looking for an extremely large Cherry Grove then this will seed will have you spawning right by one. Not only that but there is also an ancient village for you to explore in the center of the Cherry Grove biome when you dig down. This seed quite literally forms a heart for you near spawn and the heart is filled with a cherry grove for you to explore. That experience may be even more enhanced if you had someone special along with you for the adventure to the grove. If heart-indented mountains aren’t really your thing then this seed still has lots of variety with a Plains Village on the mountain too along with an array of treasures close by.

If you are looking for a scenic seed to add to your collection then this can certainly do the trick. Near your spawn, you will be able to find a Mesa biome with a lot of altitude involved and it is all mesmerizing to take in. Building in this environment would make a great change of location compared to some of the other biomes on offer.

    3. Trail Ruin Discoveries | Seed: -1743

    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

Trail Ruins are one of the golden standouts for 1.20 because of the ability to brush suspicious gravel/sand blocks. This seed will be ideal for your survival session while planning to do some archaeology in the game because there is also an Igloo near the Trail Ruins. It also has a basement that has a brewing station and a chest inside: This is an ideal seed for those wanting to quickly dive into 1.20 content.

You will start off close to one of the valleys to explore and it is a great seed to kick off your survival journeys on.

This particular seed is well known across some of the Minecraft community and it is a personal favorite of mine for any survival world. In 1.20, the seed is still just as beautiful with a spawn near a gorgeous surrounded cliffside oasis. Not only does it still have lakes in the area but it also now has Cherry trees that are running all along the main sides of the clifftop — one word to describe it: stunning.

Now that you know some of the best Minecraft Bedrock seeds you can try them all out in the next world that you create.

Best Armor Trim Designs in Minecraft https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-armor-trim-designs-in-minecraft/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/best-armor-trim-designs-in-minecraft/#respond Tue, 13 Jun 2023 13:54:46 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=928186 Minecraft has a variety of base Armor Trims for you to choose from and this means deciding which are the best to use can be a difficult task. We have you covered with a list of Armor Trims that in our opinion are some of the greatest around. Without further ado, here are the best armor trim designs in Minecraft you can add to your collection.

All of the Best Minecraft Armor Trims

    Eye Armor Trim Design

If you want to showcase your love of ender portals and the eye of enders themselves then you won’t have to look any further than the Eye Armor trim design. This has the symbol of the Eye of Ender on the chest plate. Players can find the Trim Design spawning in the Stronghold chests, it will take you some time to reach the Trim but it is worth the hunt.

    Wild Armor Trim Design

The Wild Trim Design is best created with the emerald ore since you will get a lovely green coloring on the trim which blends well with overall armor. We think this particular armor trim gives off vibes of a piece of Halo armor so it is extremely interesting. If you are looking for the Trim you have a chance of finding it in Jungle Temples within any chests you come across inside.

    Rib Armor Trim Design

Skeletons are well-known in the Minecraft community, considering that you have to face off against them most nights. The Rib Armor Trim Design has horizontal lines striking out into the armor from the sides and builds up the appearance of (you guessed it) ribs. It is a brilliant Trim Design and can be found in the Nether Fortress chests.

    Ward Armor Trim Design

    Minecraft-Ward-Armor-Trim
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

When we saw the Ward armor trim for the first time we knew that it would be beneficial for any knightly pursuits planned. If you are looking for an armor trim that feels medieval then the Ward Armor Trim Design can be that for you. The hunt for the armor trim will take place in the Ancient City where you will be looking through chests for the chance of finding it.

Related: The History of the Pig in Minecraft

    Silence Armor Trim Design

The Silence Armor Trim has a daunting name but that name will no doubt make sense when you see the trim for the first time — you will likely be in a silence of awe and wonder. The lining of the trim itself runs quite closely along what would be your character’s main skeletal structure. If you are looking to acquire this trim you will again have to visit the Ancient City and try to find it in chests.

    Vex Armor Trim Design

Out of every Trim on this list, the Vex Armor Trim is one of the most unique and it will draw attention anywhere you go with friends. The main trim runs directly down the center of your character with the chest and the legs. It almost acts like a robe and the head still gets a suitable design at the top, we would highly recommend this Trim. You can find this design in the Woodland Mansion chests.

    Shaper Armor Trim Design

The Shaper Trim is a little more on the minimalistic side but this is what makes it just so brilliant. There is still complexity to the overall Trim lining but it doesn’t feel overbearing in any way for your character. The Shaper Trim can be found (by chance) via the Trail Ruins and by brushing any Suspicious Gravel you come across.

    Spire Armor Trim Design

    Minecraft-Spire-Armor-Trim
    Image: Attack of the Fanboy

As for the Spire Armor Trim, you can be kitted out in a racing checkerboard-like pattern if you so wish with the trim. Tight-together squares will be visible on your arms and legs so it adds some flair to the overall design of this Trim. In order to find the Spire Armor Trim, we would recommend having higher protection armor on since you will have to travel to the End City and try and get it from chests there.

    Wayfinder Armor Trim Design

Adding to the best Armor Trim Designs in Minecraft is the Wayfinder Armor Trim. It almost appears to create eye-like shapes on the helmet but for the main chest plate, there are still intriguing patterns to follow. You will need to find this Armor Trim by brushing Suspicious Gravel again in any Trail Ruins you find yourself within.

    Tide Armor Trim Design

Ah the tide, everyone enjoys a sit down by the beach to watch the tide come in but with this Trim Design, you can feel rewarded when you get the main smithing template. Since you will have to find and defeat an Elder Guardian around Ocean Monuments for the chance of getting the Tide Armor Trim Design, there is a much more challenging task in store. This pays off fully though because of the beautiful design.

Now that you know all of the best armor trim designs in Minecraft to acquire, you can get back into the game and begin seeking all of these out. Once you have the Smithing Template for each trim, you can use the Smithing table to add an ingot/ingredient (such as gold) and the armor to which you want the trim applied. We know that you will look highly stylish with any of these trims equipped, no matter which color you decide to choose for the main trim.

Netherite Upgrade Smithing Templates, on the other hand, can be found exclusively on Bastion Remnant chests featured in the Nether area. Treasure chests featured in the structures are guaranteed to drop one Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template.

You will be able to find the bastions randomly in all biomes featured as part of the Nether region, with the exception of Basalt Deltas. All Bastion Remnants located in the Nether will feature a total of two Smithing Templates.

How to Craft Smithing Templates in Minecraft

You can craft a copy for an already-owned Smithing Template in Minecraft by using the Crafting Table and then adding 7 Diamonds on the slots in the edges. After doing that, just add one block of the same material your desired template is made of in the first slot in the middle/top, and the Smithing Template you wish to duplicate in the open slot below it.

After all the items are placed, you will be able to claim two Smithing Templates (your already-owned copy and the newly generated one).

How to Breed Camels in Minecraft https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-breed-camels-in-minecraft/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-breed-camels-in-minecraft/#respond Wed, 07 Jun 2023 17:14:24 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=927259 Minecraft’s Trails and Tales update has introduced a new mountable mob to the game, the Camel, which can carry two players on its back. Like most other neutral mobs in Minecraft, the Camel can be tamed and bred, but the game isn’t clear on what you have to do to make two Camels get together and make a baby. Here’s how to breed camels in Minecraft.

How to Breed Camels in Minecraft

    Minecraft-Camel
    Image: Mojang

Getting breed Camels in Minecraft works the same as every other breedable animal. To get two animals to breed, they must be brought within at least eight blocks of one another and be in “love mode.” To trigger love mode, feed both animals a specific food that will get them in the mood to mate, shown in-game by hearts appearing over their heads. Once two animals are in “love mode,” they’ll spawn a Baby version of the animal that will quickly grow into an adult.

Before you can start breeding camels, you’ll have to go out and find at least two of the hump-backed ungulates in the wild. Camels spawn in the Desert Biome and tend to gravitate toward Villages. To get a Camel to go where you want it to, you can leash it with a Lead, which can be made with four pieces of String and a Slimeball, or bait it into following you with a Cactus. If you don’t want to put up with trying to guide the Camel, you can also slap a Saddle onto its back and ride it to your destination.

Related: How To Make TNT In Minecraft

Once you’ve gotten two Camels in an enclosed space, you can get them to breed by getting them both into “love mode.” To get Camels into love mode, they must be fed a Cactus. Cactuses can only spawn on Sand Blocks or their variations, so you’ll want to harvest them from the Desert or Badlands Biome. If you plan on making Camels your regular mount, you might want to consider starting a Cactus farm.

Once both Camels are in love mode, it shouldn’t take them long to get friendly with each other and produce a Baby Camel. Now that you know how to breed Camels, you and your friends can saddle up and explore the many exciting new features that Minecraft’s Trails and Tales update has in store for you!

By using your archaeology knowledge in Minecraft you can go around hunting for these blocks and extract rarer items. This article will take you through how to brush Suspicious Sand and Gravel blocks in Minecraft.

Best Way to Brush Suspicious Sand and Gravel in Minecraft

In order to brush Suspicious Sand and Gravel in Minecraft you will have to first craft a brush by using a crafting table and adding one Copper ingot to the center square, a feather above that, then a stick below the Copper Ingot. The best method for finding suspicious sand/gravel is looking for any visible small section color differences compared to its regular counterpart block — there will also appear to be a few tiny cracks across the suspicious blocks.

The process of brushing Suspicious Sand and Gravel will require you to hold down the “use” button/key on your chosen platform. This is simply just the button/key you regularly use to place any blocks and interact with items. For example, on PlayStation, it is the L2 button. After you brush the sand or gravel fully, a resource will burst out from it and some of these can be rare items.

Where to Find Suspicious Sand and Gravel in Minecraft

There are various places you will be able to locate Suspicious Sand and Gravel in Minecraft. However, the locations vary depending on what block you are looking for. We have made a table for you to reference below when you are busy with your search.

    Suspicious Block TypeLocations
Suspicious GravelTrail Ruins and Cold Ocean Ruins
Suspicious SandDesert Wells, Desert Temples, and Warm Ocean Ruins

It should be noted that you will automatically have access to Suspicious Sand, Gravel, and a brush in Creative mode although you won’t be able to extract any items from the blocks. When exploring trail ruins, ocean ruins, desert pyramids, or desert wells, you can use a brush to sift through suspicious sand or suspicious gravel to uncover pottery sherds. These blocks will then transform into regular sand or gravel, with one of the twenty pottery sherd variations being dropped as a result. In addition, combining four Pottery Sherds will create a Decorated Pot with a picture on each side. Finally, Breaking a decorated pot without Silk Touch will release all the pottery sherds used to make it.

Minecraft: Cherry Groves Biome Location, Explained

Minecraft has a Cherry Grove biome that features beautiful pink cherry blossom, or sakura, trees. You can build your new home around the Cherry Grove biome, but you first need to know where to find the Cherry Groves.

The Cherry Grove biome is found in the mountains, in the same places that Meadows biomes are found. Like Meadows, Cherry Groves are found in large landscapes on and around mountains.

If you want to quickly find a Cherry Grove biome in Minecraft, look for any surrounding mountains and scout that area.

To find Cherry Groves easily on Minecraft Bedrock Edition, pick the Cherry Grove biome option on the seed picker screen. Before you launch into a new world, select Cherry Groves and you’ll have a much easier time finding Cherry Groves.

How to Use Cherry Groves in Minecraft

Cherry Groves offer cherry blossom trees which means there is a Cherry wood set you can get from chopping down the trees. Cherry wood can be used in all the ways every other type of wood can be used.

Unique to Cherry Groves are the pink flowers that fall from the cherry blossom tree. These Pink Petal blocks can contain up to four petals, and you can use Bone Meal to increase the number of petals per block.

Hopefully, you enjoy the majestic beauty that the Cherry Grove biome brings. Whether you create a pink home with Cherry wood or collect the Pink Petals to create a wonderful flower garden, Cherry Groves are a treat.

It’s a lot of fun and grants access to various skins, worlds, and resource packs. What else makes Realms so great in Minecraft is that they are constantly being updated to work correctly, along with adding new content. So with new patches, players must ask whether Minecraft Realms automatically updates. This guide has the answer for you.

Will Minecraft Realm Update Automatically with New Patches?

The answer to whether Minecraft Realms automatically updates with new batches is yes — as long as your Minecraft game is up to date. Minecraft needs to be the latest version of the game for Realms to update automatically. To ensure you have the newest version of Minecraft installed, head to manage game content for the app and double-check that it is up to date. The latest version is 1.20 as of June 7, 2023.

Note: Minecraft usually updates itself when a newer version is released.

If you have checked that Minecraft is the latest version and Realms still has not been updated, don’t worry. Sometimes it can take 48 to 72 hours for Realms to update due to the developers not wanting to overwhelm the network and servers.

Not only that, but the team behind Minecraft Realms also added some font and color changes to make the menu and hub more appealing to the eye.
