The offer was allegedly so grand, the streamer got her manager involved to try and hash something out with Twitch.

Once she got in contact with YouTube to break the news, the video hosting site increased the offer, but Pokimane chose loyalty, telling them she gave Twitch her word.

Amid the chorrific P. Diddy trial, Kesha has once again proven how incredible she is by further distancing herself from Diddy, changing an iconic lyric in her hit song “Tik Tok” to echo support for Diddy’s victims.

Fans of the influencer have been uncovering some not-so-benevolent traits regarding MrBeast’s business practices, with many ex-employees speaking out against him, claiming that the creator has fostered a toxic working environment.

The recent allegations against MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) have come to a head following a lawsuit against himself and Amazon over the conditions of his upcoming “Beast Games” show, with many comparing it to the catastrophic Fyre Festival.

The complaint was initially filed on September 16, 2024 in the LA Superior Court, with contestants who took part in the Beast Games, citing inhuman working conditions and chronic mistreatment, including allegations of sexual misconduct occurring on set, as well as the production’s failure to pay staff minimum wage. The five contestants filing against MrBeast are redacted – but raises some truly disturbing allegations about the show’s conditions.

The copycat claims come from Tyler1’s set up for his own marathon of the game, featuring a themed backdrop, much like what Cenat used during his streams, as well as Tyler wearing a warrior costume when initially jumping into frame to introduce the stream. While some fans were excited and on board, citing previous “cosplay” streams that Tyler had hosted on his Twitch, others weren’t nearly as excited.

Other fans say that Kai Cenat deserves more credit for popularizing the concept of a streaming marathon, and that Kai really went out of his way to make themed streams feel like a spectacle, and that seeing Tyler do it now feels too much like copying.

While fans are decided – one thing is for certain – watching Tyler1 endure the endless trials that Elden Ring throws at its players, especially the boss fights, will be a spectacular show all on its own.

One of these colleagues, a fellow streamer named NICKMERCS, is urging the Doc to speak up and reveal the DMs Twitch cited as the reason for his ban.

After speaking out against Dr Disrespect after his return stream, NICKMERCS is now speaking out about Twitch, stating that he does, in fact, believe that the streaming platform may have plotted against Dr Disrespect to get him banned. This doesn’t mean he’s no in support of Doc, though – Nick has still confirmed he wants nothing to do with his former friend due to his past actions.

I don’t care if he didn’t break any laws or if a judge found him guilty or not. He admitted to it. We know enough that there was a conversation going on. We also know he had been cheating on his wife, you can put two and two together.

For those that don’t keep up with the VTubing community, part of what makes the niche form of content creation so special is that it gives creators the chance to stay completely anonymous with the use of handcrafted avatars, most of which look like hyper-stylized anime characters.

IronMouse is one of these streamers, obviously, and one that chooses to keep her real identity fully anonymous, which is what’s threatening the livelihood of her YouTube channel. During a livestream on Twitch on September 8, 2024, IronMouse informed her audience that her VOD YouTube channel currently has three copyright strikes against it, and that the only way to dispute the claims would involve sending compromising personal information – something the popular streamer just isn’t willing to do.

Jake Weddle, a former MrBeast employee recently took to Instagram to speak about his own experiences with the MrBeast team, raising intense allegations against him amid rumors that began circulating about the company’s practices after news broke about Ava Kris Tyson sending explicit messages to minors.

In the since-deleted Instagram stories, Weddle spoke against MrBeast’s media empire by stating that the YouTuber’s philanthropic efforts were essentially a money laundering scheme, stating that if the public doesn’t believe it, that they should get the police involved.

In addition to accusing MrBeast of money laundering, Weddle went on to accuse the YouTuber of sexual misconduct on multiple occasions, and of covering up incidents of SA. Weddle also described the toxic work environment fostered by the company, stating that Jimmy had created a “boys club” of sorts within the company.

“His philanthropy is s***. Makes no impact. And is basically money laundering. Don’t believe me? Let’s investigate! Let’s get the police involved! Please? Pretty please?”

Being controversial in his own way, Nick doesn’t mind speaking publicly about his disdain for Dr Disrespect’s return to the internet, throwing around a number of heated comments about the streamer’s Twitch ban. The McLaren situation – of course – has become a bit of a running meme in his community following the court battles, and during a Q&A held on September 8, 2024, xQc updated his community on the situation, which is where the dismissal was officially announced. During the Q&A, though he tried to stay rather vague, the streamer said the following:

“Let’s just say, the other party didn’t play fair from the beginning. The sneaky tactics they were doing. It was supposedly frozen, the car was sold under the radar. Shouldn’t be happening.”

xQc did state that he would like to pursue getting his $500,000 dollars back, but that he doesn’t want to risk everything, and is currently “biding his time”. xQc has won two previous lawsuits made against his ex, and though there are no updates as of time of writing, it seems as though he may eventually pursue further legal action down the line.

In 2019, a very publicized fight broke out between the two YouTubers after Stephanie Soo released a video titled “Why I Am Scared of Nikocado Avocado” calling Nikocado out after the pair had worked on a collaboration with one another. In Soo’s original video, she spoke out about how, during the filming process, Nikocado was pushing her to “spill the tea” on another content creator named Veronica Wang, making her uncomfortable. Soo claims that the tactics used by Nikocado throughout the interaction were highly manipulative.

Additionally, Soo claimed throughout the video that while Nikocado was in her home, he would allegedly take stealthy photos of the interior whenever Soo wasn’t present, adding to her discomfort. Nikocado responded to the allegations made against him in Soo’s original video, denouncing the claims and stating, “Stephanie, you painted the stage for your viewers that you had no idea I was taking photos and that was the reason you’re questioning their safety. That’s the only thing you supposedly had on me.”

Stephanie Soo released one final follow-up video to the drama in January 2020 titled “How Nikocado Manipulated All Of Us” where the YouTuber breaks down and speaks candidly about the situation once more, reiterating that he did pressure her to speak about Veronica Wang and the other alleged incidents that happened while he was in her home. With a gameplay loop that asks players to learn from their mistakes and reach higher goals, Kerbal Space Program would be an excellent addition to any science class’s astronomy lessons.

7. Wordscapes

Many of the greatest video games borrow elements from board games, and Wordscapes is no exception. A puzzle game that mixes the best parts of Boggle and the crossword sections of your morning newspaper, Wordscape challenges players to build as many words as possible using the 3-7 words spinning in the circle at the bottom of the screen.

With over 600 levels covering many difficulty settings, Wordscape is a great way to test students’ ability to spell words and promote deductive reasoning through the in-game hint system. While its nature as a mobile game will mean that teachers might have to make sure some students are playing the game and not wasting time on their phones, Wordscape could teach students new words that could become lifelong editions to their lexicons.

8. Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is regarded as one of the most relaxing games ever made, making it an excellent interactive education option for teachers who run high-energy classrooms. However, beneath its charming graphics and low-stress nature is a game with almost limitless educational potential.

As a farm management simulator, Stardew Valley can teach science and business students how to raise crops, tend to livestock, and manage finances. Outside of its agriculture system, Stardew Valley can also be used to teach younger players the importance of respecting the people around you, with its social simulation elements doing an excellent job of showing why you should always treat others with kindness.

9. Zoombinis

The Zoombinis series leans more toward younger players than most of the other games on this list, but that doesn’t mean it can’t appeal to older students. While Logical Journey of the Zoombinis would go on to spawn two sequels, this original title is widely regarded as the best in the series.

Logical Journey of the Zoombinis tasks players with adding the titular blue furballs with legs as they flee their ancestral home to escape being enslaved by their hostile neighbors, the Glouts. By forming a group of Zoombinis to serve as a scouting party, players must solve logic-based puzzles to help the Zombinis travel to their new homes. These puzzles, while challenging, can help children develop logical reasoning skills that will help them later in life.

10. Dreams

Sometimes, kids need a chance to forget the stress of school and have a bit of fun once in a while. While it may not teach any particular subjects, Dreams is an easy-to-play video game that can help students unwind while still letting them productively flex their cognitive muscles.

With nearly limitless creative options, Dream lets players build games and audio-visual experiences and play those made by other players. By creating and sharing dreams, students can exercise their artistic ability and learn about the interests of their peers. As long as they’re careful to make sure nothing inappropriate makes it into the final product, teachers can use Dreams to help shy students express themselves and form lasting friendships.

Kaguya-Sama: Season 3 Episode 6 Release Date and Time

The sixth episode of Kaguya-Sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic- is set to be released on the morning of next Friday, May 13th, 2022. The episode is set to become available at 9:30 AM Pacific Time (PT).

As usual, the episode is set to cover around three manga chapters and is set to run for around 19 to 20 minutes + opening and ending. As we said above, you can watch all of the episodes of not only Kaguya-Sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic-, but also that of the anime series’ first two seasons right now, exclusively on Crunchyroll and Funimation. Spy x Family Episode 5 Release Date and Time

The fifth episode of Spy x Family will be released on Saturday, May 7. The show is distributed via Crunchyroll and Hulu in most of the world. If you’re watching on Crunchyroll, then the episode will be available at the following times:

• 11:30 AM ET
• 4:30 PM GMT

The episode will be available subbed at that time, but an English dub is also available on Crunchyroll. However, the dub is behind the subbed version, so you won’t be able to watch the new episode of Spy x Family dubbed until next week. Episode 4’s dubbed version is releasing on Sunday, May 8 at 2:30 PM PT/5:30 PM ET, so expect to see the dubbed version of episode 5 a week after that.

How to Watch the New Spy x Family Episode

Crunchyroll is the best place to watch Spy x Family since the episodes will be available the soonest on that streaming platform, but Hulu subscribers can also watch the subbed version of the anime on that service as well. If you want to watch a dubbed version, your only option is Crunchyroll, and the dubbed episodes don’t release until later in the week. You can watch the anime on Crunchyroll for free, but the free version of Crunchyroll is only available in standard definition and features ads. A premium subscription ($7.99/month) offers HD streaming and no ads, and there’s a 14-day free trial available. On Hulu, you’ll need to pay for a subscription to watch since there’s no free version of the service. The cheapest Hulu plan is the ad-supported tier, which costs $6.99 per month. If you’re just looking to watch anime, then Crunchyroll is the better option between the two. Spy x Family is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Moon Knight Episode 4 Leaks

Episode 4 was the final episode given to reviewers ahead of the show’s release, and it’s supposedly the best episode so far. Moon Knight has been a consistently great show since its debut, and it’s easily one of the best Marvel series to hit Disney Plus so far. Episode 4 reportedly ends on a huge cliffhanger, so it looks like things are just going to get worse for Marc and Layla. Not much is known about the exact events of the episode, but the critics who have seen it have called it one of the darkest episodes of the entire show. With what we’ve seen so far, that’s saying something. It’s shaping up to be an exciting episode, and thankfully, you’ll be able to stream it very soon. Moon Knight is currently available to stream on Disney Plus.

Who is Missing from the Thor: Love and Thunder Trailer?

It’s clear that someone is being hidden in the Thor trailer, since a shot of Thor and Korg has way too much empty space to the left of the duo. Someone is supposed to be there, but who? Fans have plenty of guesses, and since Love and Thunder has a huge ensemble cast featuring Russell Crowe as Zeus, Christian Bale as Gorr, and many of the Guardians of the Galaxy reprising their roles, there are plenty of possibilities for this mystery character.

Jane Foster: Mighty Thor

While there are countless fan theories about exciting cameos and character reveals, the most likely candidate for the third person in this shot is Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, who will make her debut as the Mighty Thor in this film. Jane wielding Mjolnir was the final shot of the trailer, and Marvel likely wanted to save her costumed debut for the stinger. That’s why she was most likely removed from the shot with Thor and Korg. Jane Foster is confirmed to be in the film (obviously), so her inclusion in that shot would be a disappointingly normal explanation for this editing coverup. Still, there are other people that could accompany Thor and co. throughout the film, and fans think that it may not be Portman’s character in that scene.

Beta Ray Bill

Fans have been begging for Beta Ray Bill to enter the MCU for years at this point, and some people think that he could be the mystery character standing next to Thor in the trailer. Beta Ray Bill is worthy and can lift Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, and he’s a fan favorite among comic readers. He was initially supposed to be featured in Thor: Ragnarok as a cameo, but director Taika Waititi decided it wouldn’t do justice to the character. Since Waititi is back directing Love and Thunder, he could introduce Beta Ray Bill in a much more serious capacity this time around. It’d be a great moment for fans, but it could take away from Jane Foster’s time in the spotlight as Thor, so it’s still a tossup to see whether or not he’ll make the cut.

Hercules

Love and Thunder is set to introduce a wide array of new gods to the MCU, and if Russell Crowe is playing Zeus, then it makes sense for Hercules to make an appearance as well. Hercules has been a rumored character for the film for quite some time now, although nothing concrete has surfaced in regards to casting, costuming, or any other leaks. Hercules and Thor have clashed several times throughout comic book history, and Hercules seems like a character that Taika Waititi would want to play around with in one of his films. Even if it’s just for brief cameo, Hercules has a solid chance of appearing in Love and Thunder. He may not be the one edited out of the trailer, but you may see this Marvel god on the big screen in July.

Loki

This is a long shot, but there’s no character more used to longshots than the Norse God of Mischief himself. Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has become one of the most popular characters in the MCU since his introduction in the first Thor film and, more importantly, his role as the antagonist of the first Avengers movie. Since then, he’s appeared in every single Thor movie to date and even has his own Disney Plus series that’s slated for a second season. The Loki show gave MCU fans their first serious taste of the multiverse, introducing the concept of variants, the Time Variance Authority, and the Sacred Timeline. While the original Loki perished at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, a Loki variant escaped to our timeline and has quickly been caught up to speed throughout the first season of his show. While it may not be time just yet, a reunion between Thor and Loki would be a huge crowd-pleasing moment for fans. With Loki set to appear in another season of his own show on Disney Plus, and with the God of Mischief being rumored for other appearances in films like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, there’s a slim chance that he could appear in Thor: Love and Thunder. Again, this is a huge longshot (and mostly just wishful thinking), but even a brief appearance from Tom Hiddleston would be highly appreciated. Plus, it’s exactly the type of thing Marvel would want to keep under wraps with an edited trailer. While we wait to see who’s really supposed to be in this scene, there’s still plenty of Marvel goodness to enjoy. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness premieres in just under a month, and Moon Knight is just over its halfway point on Disney Plus. Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters on July 8, 2022 in the United States.

Which Moon Knight Comics Should You Read?

Moon Knight has been written by countless different authors over the years, and his comic book personality (or should we say personalities) is a bit different than the one portrayed by Oscar Isaac in the show. If you want some goofier stories, then you can start with Moon Knights’ earlier appearances. If you want something closer to the show’s tone and feel though, then you should pick up some newer issues. You can purchase any of these recommended Moon Knight comics digitally on websites like Comixology, pick them up from a bookstore or local comic shop, or read them using a service like Marvel Unlimited. Marvel Unlimited is the easiest option, as you’ll have Moon Knight’s entire history at your fingertips.

Moon Knight’s First Appearance

Moon Knight didn’t get his start in his own comic series. He instead debuted in Werewolf by Night #32 in August 1975 as an antagonist. Because he was battling the Werewolf by Night, Marvel gave him moon-related powers and silver weapons (every werewolf’s weakness).

It’s a silly issue from the ’70s, so it’s very different from the Moon Knight we know today. It’s still a fun read, however, and Marvel actually gave the issue away for free via a QR code hidden in the first episode of the Moon Knight Disney Plus series.

Moon Knight Epic Collection: Bad Moon Rising

After multiple guest appearances in Werewolf by Night, Hulk, Spectacular Spider-Man, and more, Moon Knight finally got his own book in 1980. The first few issues of the series expand on his origin story and explain how he came to meet Khonshu and gain his powers. Just like his Werewolf by Night appearance, Moon Knight’s earliest issues are very different from his modern incarnation. However, if you’re one of those people that needs to start at the very beginning, then it’s not unreadable. Plus, it’s still relatively recent compared to superheroes that debuted much, much earlier like Spider-Man. Moon Knight’s first few issues and all of his guest appearances are collected in Moon Knight Epic Collection: Bad Moon Rising.

Moon Knight Volume 1: The Midnight Mission (2021)

This is the latest Moon Knight run, so it’s the perfect place to start. This run is actually still ongoing and set to finish in June 2022, so you’ll be experiencing everything alongside existing Moon Knight fans and readers if you pick it up. This volume collects the first 6 issues of the run, and a second volume will be released with the second half of the story at a later date. This run sees Mr. Knight opening a safe haven for people called the Midnight Mission. All the while, Moon Knight still fights crime when night falls. There’s also some drama going on between Marc and Khonshu on top of everything. It’s a great run, but there are some other options if you’re not interested.

Moon Knight by Bendis/Maleev (2011)

In 2011, authors Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man) and Alex Maleev (Daredevil) joined together to create one of the most unique spins on Moon Knight to ever be printed. If you’re a diehard MCU fan, then this is the series you’ll want to read, because Marc Spector’s personalities are Captain America, Wolverine, and Spider-Man in this iteration. You’ll still see Marc Spector and his other alter egos, but some of Marvel’s biggest heroes are also stuck in Marc’s mind this time around. This leads to some great moments, and this series is absolutely worth a read. It’s only a 12-issue run as well, so you can binge the whole thing in a day or two.

Moon Knight Volume 1: Lunatic (2016)

This run, helmed by Jeff Lemire, is an all-time great Moon Knight story. Marc Spector wakes up as a patient of an insane asylum without any powers, calling all of his past adventures into question. It’s a brilliant setup that’s immediately interesting, and things only ramp up from there. The Moon Knight Disney Plus series takes a ton of inspiration from this run, so it’s the best for fans of the show. The entire run is comprised of 3 volumes, but you can get away with just reading the first volume if you don’t want to delve too deep into the story. You’ll probably want to keep reading once you finish volume 1 though, so it’s great that each volume isn’t too expensive. It’s a mind-bending adventure with stunning art that is still hailed as one of the hero’s best stories to this day. Moon Knight is currently available to stream on Disney Plus.

That’s roughly four OSTs (if you roll Golden and FES into the main soundtracks for P4 and P3), several spin-off albums, and a couple live concerts. That’s not a bad haul for Persona fans, and I know I’ll be adding both the Persona 4 and Persona 5 soundtracks for my library as soon as I am able (I own the deluxe vinyl for Persona 5, so you could say I’m a fan). There’s even an official playlist on Spotify if you are unfamiliar with some of the other games and want to sample some of the greatest hits from each. The playlist won’t go up until midnight alongside the full albums, but you can bookmark and save it now. We gave Persona 5 Royal a perfect score, and were pleased with the Persona 4 Golden PC port released a few months ago. The World of Warcraft Thrall Premium Statue is on sale now for an eyewatering $600, and is nearly two feet tall.

You read that correctly. The new World of Warcraft Thrall Premium Statue is an absolute unit of a collectible. I thought my one-foot tall statues were massive, but the former Warchief of the Horde easily dwarfs all of them. Maybe if I stood my Half-Life 2 Gravity Gun up on its end it’d compare, but that’s about as large as any collectible I own gets. Maybe if I had Blizzard’s 24″ Premium Illidan Statue I’d have something to compare the Thrall Premium Statue against, so it’s not like the company hasn’t done this before. Seriously, if you’ve watched any of our podcasts then you’ve seen my Horde banner in the background. The Thrall Premium Statue is as large and wide as it is. I’m still wrapping my head around the sheer mass of this thing, which weighs in at around 40 pounds by the way. Where I would put it anyone’s guess, but I won’t pretend to be impressed by its size alone. The hand painted statue frankly looks amazing. The choice of colors, how well they’re blended together to make each material pop with a realistic sheen: it’s easily one of the best looking collectible statues I’ve seen in a while (trust me; there are plenty of cheap looking ones selling for good money out there). Such scale and quality comes at a cost, however, and the World of Warcraft Thrall Premium Statue will set you back a mere $600. This statue of WoW’s “Green Jesus” is more expensive than a next-gen console. Then again, only the most devout of fans are going to drop that kind of money on a statue the size and weight of a toddler. Much like the recent Yeti X: World of Warcraft Edition I reviewed, this one is clearly for the super fans. Thrall’s face may look a little derpy (which the subreddit has happily turned into a meme), but hey, there’s an even more expensive gray version for those who like to paint their own statues.

The first of these short comics was released today (October 12) and tells the story of a rookie who is a cowardly member of the resistance with low self-esteem. This character’s narration explains that he wants to be a hero like Sonic or Tails, but that he is too cowardly to do so. Dr. Eggman then attacks the base, forcing the rookie to fight alongside Vector, Espio and Charmy from Team Chaotix. The comic is only eight pages long, but the full thing is available to view for free on Sonic the Hedgehog social media pages such as Facebook and Twitter. It is not currently known how many more comics will be released (the “(1/2)” in the tweet to the right refers to that being the first of two tweets about the topic, not this being the first of two comics) or what frequency at which they will be released. Sonic Forces is set to come out on November 7 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

According to Polygon, Dark Horse and Nintendo have recently announced that they will be working on a series of graphic novels based on Nintendo’s new fighting game ARMS, which came out earlier this year for the Switch. The graphic novels will feature characters from the game, such as Spring Man, Ribbon Girl and Master Mummy, and explore the lore of the franchise more deeply than the game does. The graphic novels will be illustrated by Joe Ng, who has previously drawn for Street Fighter and Darkstalkers books, as well as Overwatch comics, so he’s got some experience drawing characters originally from video games. You can see some of Ng’s drawings of the characters from ARMS in the picture to the right of this paragraph. The first ARMS graphic novel is set to release in the fall of 2018.

The other albums in the Prescription for Sleep series include Game Music Lullabies volumes I and II, which contain lullaby versions of various songs with no particular theme from a number of games, including Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario 64, Shovel Knight and DuckTales, Lullabies of Mana, which transforms a number of songs from Secret of Mana into lullaby versions, A Tribute to the Departed, a 2-song EP dedicated to musician Eiki Oshimi and former president of Nintendo Satoru Iwata, and Prescription for Sleep: Undertale, featuring lullaby versions of songs from Undertale.

Various Life is Strange social media pages recently shared a link to a website promoting their #YourFriendMe campaign. This campaign encourages people to record themselves telling a friend how important their friendship is to them and then to share that video with that friend using the hashtag #YourFriendMe. For every video shared this way, Square Enix, Life is Strange‘s publisher, has promised to donate $5, up to a total of $25,000, to the JED Foundation. The website describes the JED Foundation as “an advocate for the mental health of teens and young adults nationwide, partnering with high schools and colleges to strengthen substance abuse programs and suicide prevention programs.” So if you’ve been meaning to tell a friend how important they are to you, or if you’ve wanted to get back in contact with someone you’ve been out of touch with for a while, you now have an excuse to do so. It’s for a good cause AND it’s related to video games.
